W222 S550 dashboard/dash cover removal instructions.

Hello, Does anyone have instructions to remove the dash cover on a W222 S550? My 2015 S550 is making an annoying rubbing sound while driving. The noise appears to come from the center of the dash just below the windshield. Thanks in advance for you help!

Hi and welcome to MBworld!

I'm moving your question to the W222 forum where other owners might be able to help. Good luck!

See attachments. Also consider lubricating the transition between instrument panel & console.

Unfortunately, the creaking noise is not coming from the center console as the document indicated. Removing the center instrument panel cover also doe not reveal the root cause of the creaking noise. I've also examined the instrument cluster and everything there is tidy.

I believe the noise is coming from just below the dashboard air vent (windshield defrost vents). Do you have any instruction on removing the dashboard?

Thanks.
