Service B Reset
I have a 2021 e63s wagon with the newer MBUX system. I have tried the serval post on this site for reseting service "b" using the touch pad scroll and home/back buttons on upper left hand steering wheel. I can not get into "Workshop" menu, I only see on far left scroll (under "Trip") "Assistance" and on far right scroll "Service", neither one will get me into resetting service. If anyone has done so successfully with my model year please let me know how to do so.
Thank you in advance,
Peter

Thank you very much for the link to video "Taphil". If eventually did work for me after several tries with the ten second holds. A bit confusing once "workshop" menu did open up but somehow I got to reset service. I don't think I could repeat this again first try ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Looks like warning for service b has gone away so thank you again for sending along.

Was resetting Service A and backed out incorrectly, which added WORKSHOP to my menu. Is there a way to eliminate it? I was able to reset the Service A indicator by using the phone/ok buttons

It will be gone the next ignition cycle or longest if you leave the car untouched and come back to it the next day.

Trying to get into Workshop menu to reset the service A on a 2023 C43 AMG (USA - 4 cylinder M139L engine) and after depressing the ignition button once followed by hitting the left Home button for 10-15 seconds, immediately followed by hitting the left OK button for 10 seconds I get a prompt asking me if I want to create a shortcut. I can go no further except for saying "no" - which then takes me back to the beginning of the process. What am I missing here - TIA??!!

No I think it means the button sequence is different than MBUX 1.0, which is why the instructions here in the video aren’t working.

These PDFs work as described for my wife's 2018 GLE, however they do not work for the 2023 vehicles with NTG 7.0/MBUX 2.0 software. Thank you for the effort tho'.

No, this is a for 2021 W206 model, mine is a 2023 W206 model (post facelift)...I tried the attached process and after holding the home button for 10 seconds, then the OK for 10 seconds it only asks me if I want to create a "shortcut." I can go no further.. Thanks tho!

W206 was available as 2022 model year in USA and the above method works on those cars but very finicky on 2023 like the one you are trying to work on.

Keep in mind, the link I just provided an hour ago is provided by a forum member for a 2023 GLC 300, basically same vehicle with same software but in SUV form. Did you make sure to be on the trip screen?

Yes, followed the directions precisely - this C43 AMG has the new MBUX 2.0/NTG 7.0 system software, many of the other 2023 models do not did not yet have this "upgrade." Parenthetically, cannot even plug the car into my Youcanic OBDII scanner as MB has encrypted the datastream...need to take it to a dealer to read any codes. They're making it harder and harder for the DIY'ers. Maddening!
