We picked up our new SL450 yesterday...
...and as promised, here are some pictures:
I will try to post more later.
Because the car was traded with another dealer, not all of the manuals came with it. For example, the manual for the Command/CD player was missing. Mercedes' Internet site indicates the head unit is a six disc unit, but the brochure doesn't. I do not see how to insert more than one disc. Can anyone help? Is it only a single disc unit?
Thanks, Lloyd

CD's take up too much room. I have over 650 of my favorite songs on one memory stick plugged in the center console.
Great color SL!

But you're right, there are so many other ways to enjoy music, memory stick, SD card, internal hard drive, satellite radio, it would make one wonder why Mercedes would even put a CD changer in a 2017 car!

First of all, congratulations on your new SL. It's beautiful, and I know you're going to love it.
Secondly, If you love your music, go out and buy an 8GB memory card and move all your music over to that, then just plug it into the face of your radio and you're good to go. I've got over a thousand songs on my card and it's only taken up a little over 4GB's.
The other thing to do, in my opinion, is to install a small amplifier to help power the rear speakers, which, without an amp, are woefully inadequate. There are a few threads here that address that issue.
Good luck with your new baby.
Steve.

Love the color
I have to say that this version in blue is really attractive. Beautiful car! Enjoy the drive.
Also, I did the SD card for my music and have about 1200 songs on the card, so I am never without tunes. But most of mine have some age on them!
Thanks for sharing!
