10 Cayenne GTS, 07 Porsche 911 Turbo
I just tried to sell my 07 with the 030 and most options, no luck. I did a lot of research before listing it for $57K on eBay. Based upon what I know now I would not pay more than $68-$70K for an 08 regardless of what KBB and Edmund's recommend. The options you mention although desirable don't add much to the resale value. SL prices are free falling right now as the supply increases and demand decreases. If I were you I would also consider/buy a used Porsche 997TT and skip the SL. JMHO

I test drove THREE 997 turbo's!
Two 996 turbo's
An M5
Z06
Non of the cars above held a candle to my SL for all around comfort, power, style and luxury.
I would take an Audi R8 over my car but it's still too much $$.
Keep looking and SKIP the Porsche.

So your selling your SL55 even though you like the power, styling, and comfort...what are you getting into next?

I think mid to low $70K would be a reasonable price. Prices are indeed coming doing lately.
SF Benz has a SL65 (http://www.sfbenz.com/certified/Merc...fc41866d9c.htm) that was originally listed for nearly $100K and it's already 12K down.
I too prefer the SL over the 996TT and possibly the 997, but as a used car SL is a much better value (READ they depreciate quickly) so obviously someone buying it new would be less happy.
