the color is just due to the lighting and the whole pic came out pretty yellow. will be setting car down tomorrow and able to pull it out for some better pics. new front spacers won't be here till monday or tues though.

hard to take pics of this thing in the sun with cell phone. such a huge contrast between the blue and the black!

What a stunner.
And I have to say, and I am sure you already know, the interior needs to be black. The outside is so sick in black and blue that the gray seems so....dull.
These projects are never done.... Lol.

Congrats on the all your hard work paying off! Looks amazing and props to you for sharing it all along the way.
If maybe you agree, adjust/mold the spoiler legs and tips to the same angle as the windshield profile wise? Not sure if anybody can photoshop it to see if it works or not.
Skip the black leather and go with something non-glossy finish (alcantara?), so it doesn't take away from your amazing paint job and body work!

i do think black would ultimately look better, but black being a 10, the grey is still a 9.5 and not worth the trouble of changing. for me i like the lightness once in the car and reminds you it is still a mercedes. i may do the roll bar in black though. just need a touch more black on interior, and a touch more silver/chrome on outside and the colors will pull together and bridge the gap.

Awesome job Scott, just awesome! I was never that sold on the color... now that it is done I don't think it could be any other color & look as sick as it does! I agree with everyone on the black but since I am on the junkie engine modding kick I would go that route instead (as if you need to do anything)

a top gear episode with a french racing blue (almost exact to voodoo blue) jaguar was in it. there was a yellow lfa in the test also, but when they were all next to eachother driving down the road, the blue still stuck out the most. hard to imagine blue as a loud color, but this is it!
