SLS AMG E-Cell, confirmed as 2013 Model
Mercedes will begin taking orders for the SLS AMG E-Cell towards the middle of 2012, with test drives and deliveries slated to begin late next year and in early 2013.

A SLS without the snort, crackle, burble, roar, pow?...like a mute opera singer. Guess they could go the route the new M5 takes and just simulate the engine noise and play it through the stereo, but that kind of defeats the point.

No wonder Dieter tried to dis electric cars at the Detroit auto show.
He'd like to think they did the first uber performance one.
BTW torque rated in an electric motor is instantaneous from 0rpm not 1rpm
