Out Of Control!
Interesting. First time i've heard of this problem So what was the outcome? Did they replace both headers or what?
Also interesting combination of mods you've got going on there. Good luck!

Just noticed it the other day. My local shop said they would handle it with Kleemann. I did shoot Cory a PM and he said it would be no problem. As soon as Kleemann gets the defective header they will ship out a new one.

That one must have slipped by the QA dept..
Glad to hear you're getting it taken care of!
Like Jam said, keep us posted on the results, I'd love to see a dyno when your beast is done!

Update
My replacement Kleemann headers arrived yesterday. No ill feelings towards Kleemann except I think they should have shipped the replacements a lot quicker. Everything looks kosher with the new set. Both headers easily slip over the studs on my spare heads. With the first set one side wouldn't even come close to fitting and the other side only fit if you forced it on. I'll be shipping them to Swain tech for thermal coating after the weekend.
I can't wait to get these on the car!!

Originally I was gonna install the headers myself but its hard to find time to work on my car and also at the price the shop is willing to do it for it seems like a good deal. Plus if I have any leaks or problems it will be on their hands.

English must not be your main language. I'm not really sure what you are asking in this thread or my other thread you posted in. Yes I have heard of Kleemann. These are Kleemann headers. I purchased them at one of Kleemann's USA distributors. The headers were defective and Kleemann replaced them free of charge (as they should have). Right now my headers are being ceramic coated and when I get them back I'm having them installed by one of Kleemann's authorized USA installers.

huh? 2fast4amg,What are you talking about?
Please take a picture of those kleemann headers. 3200 for headers, they must be golden. Do you need to get a retune from Kleemann also to adjust it for your new settings?

From what I understand the stock ECU will be able to adapt to the new headers. It may take some miles for it to relearn but it should be OK. The price I got was 2,200 not 3,200 but its still an awful lot for some simple pipes welded together. They are certainly not golden although they are priced that way. If these were on a more common car like a Mustang they would probably be around $500. The problem is supply and demand. In the MB world there are very few people who want these headers so Kleemann has to charge more to make it worth their investment. Not to mention as a whole MB owners probably have a higher income then Mustang owners so its easier to sell them at a higher price point. None the less I still feel Kleemann was the best choice for me and my car at this time. My opinion may change if the Abedin Motorsports headers are of decent quality and price when they are finally released.
