New wheels and Kleemann car FS and Mechanical fan delete?
Finally! FINALLY!!!! I got rid of those stupid e430 wheels. I picked up a set of stock oem wheels with barely used sumitomos! and what a difference! It may be an overstatement but it feels and kinda looks like a new car to me. Anyways stock wheels FTW!
The person who I bought the wheels from also is selling his w210 e55 amg kleemann, it's got the supercharger and a few other things. Check it out for your self - http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/1171896230.html - it looked very clean and I'm definitely considering selling my e55 to be able to purchase this one....
Also has anyone switched the mechanical fan to electric? i'm just curious

I remember on the Lexus SC400, it used a mechanical (fluid driven) fan. People would remove those and replace them with electric to free up some decent HP.
Anyone tried this? Anyone know how much power the fan takes?
I also thought that was Peter's car. Looks nice.

Yes it will free up power especially if yours is failing and is always on.
You can run either a 14" or 16" Spal fan (14" is easy fit, 16" is extremely tight but should be possible although not recommended). I HIGHLY recommend going with a curved blade puller fan instead of straight blade (its much quieter than the straight blade fans) and there is plenty of space to run the 14". You will have to figure out a way to mount it (most likely some aluminum & steel brackets should do the job). Spal does have various universal wiring harnesses, programmable temp modules, and you can even tap into the stock OEM coolant temp sensor if you want.
They have 185 & 195F temp sensors, (roughly 85 & 90C) plus some other adjustable options. Usually, its not so much how much power you pick up on the dyno (usually 5-8HP tops) but its more about how the engine feels after you remove the mechanical fan (especially at high rpms), it feels much more alive. Plus mechanical fans go bad all the time so might as well upgrade to electric since its actually much cheaper than replacing the stock mechanical fan & fan clutch.
Here is one potential option, $105 + shipping ...
