hey Fabian

thanks for your input

i have the w203 c32/c55 discs and 4 piston calipers, should I use the master brake cylinder from w203 AMG cars for better braking?

absolutly no idea, but i allways thought the C55 Calipers are to soft with the W210 Brakebooster, i would give it a try or at least user the S55 N/A AMG Brakebooster and cylinder ... the S55 N/A also have the 4-piston calipers.

greetings, Fabian

I think it should fit, cause C43/E55 using the same B & MC,

but as Fabian said; should to bend brake lines a bit, i will try that next week & let you know..

*assuming W220 N/A S55 & S55K sharing the same B & M/C, isn't..?

Just did the research and most if not all mc/bb are the same on the w220 AMG or not. Checked a 2000 s430 and a 04'S55 Part # is 005-430-25-30 My next mod now!

tried "3" W220 B/MC, brake is soo great, but unfortunately ESP shutting-off & light shows up, we can say ESP completely disable,

diagnose the car code: C1201 BAS release switch, replace it with another one, same issue, bought ESP hydraulic unit & B/MC, without luck...!,,

any clue with this Fabian..?

greetin. gsAt least on, Fabian
Would any of the relearning /reset procedures for ESP/BAS work? I read that at times you have to relearn the values for the lights to turn off. At least on the w220 forums

dont think so, i tried the W220 ESP/BAS Module in my W210 with the E55K Engine but could not get it to work. it only works when you code the ECU to W220 but then the car wont start

W202/W210 ... no matter if ME2.0 or ME2.8 based ... has HHT based ESP/BAS Control Units, the one from my S55 donator was allreadys DAS based and could be relearned, but i didnt get that to work either so i endet up with my w210 ME2.8 ESP/BAS Module. The BB from the W220 works without problems with that Unit.

Zayed, did you replaced the sensor with the one from your old BrakeBooster?

greetings, Fabian

depends on what sensor is marked as defect?

As i switched vom ME2.0 ESP to ME2.8 ESP Control Unit I changed the Pressure Sensor in the ESP Module, the Sensor in the Brakebooster and the Gyrosensor. as far as i remember.

There is only Diaphragm in the booster that can be changed, can't change anything else in the booster isn't..?

i had C1201 BAS release switch, this switch is a part of assembly booster that can't be changed, is that right..??

i think ESP module not accept new pressure that comes & go through the ESP hydraulic unit, not sure if that what happened to me..?!!?

Several Updates...

I threw out the SL55 722.643 Transmission and installed a SL65 722.649 instead. Shifting is nicer in some kind i cant really explain

722.649 Electrohydraulic Unit

torqueconverter from the 649

torqueconverter from the 643

722.643 and 722.649

something missing...

also i installed new hoses...

...

...

...

...

...

...

And made some Soundchecks and 100-200km/h testdrives

Soundcheck

testdrives...

That sound, like you said, is INSANE! The shifting is so precise; looks like it pulls strong. Keeps getting better and better.

Excellent Fabian..,

when i taste the shifting of 649, can't go back to the stock, it's great..,,

very good hose fitment, like the way of alloy tube/silicone than plastic/rubber..

CLK W208
Hi Fabian. Great work man. Car looks great. I had a few questions, i did a full conversion from ME2.0 clk320 to a full ME2.8 CLK 55. I did a full conversion. Even changed then full body harness so mine is a full 55. Now how can i tell if i have the EGS51 or 52? Again everything 100% on my car is a 2002 clk 55. Also i have 6 piston front calioers from clk black series with custom brackets. They work great but pedal is a bit soft and i want a firmer and more harsh braking than i have now. All my booster/pump ... is from a clk55. Can you guide me how to do the s booster. Also what parts i need and what cars i can get it from? Thank you. Im also doing the blue top solonoids next week as i did a full hardwired paddle ahifters via a custom made clock spring by me. If intrested i can send you the info on it. Im running the 2014 c63 steering wheel with paddles and i made a combination of the w203 and w208 clock spring that allows me to have my paddle ahifters hard wired. Thanks in advance.

Hey Zayed, what do you mean with stall converter?

@VIPclk320
great!
Just take a look on it, the EGS51 has ... suprise ... EGS51 printed on it. If you have a stardiagnosis you can check as well, EGS51 is HHT, EGS52 ist DAS based interface. EGS51 mostly begins with 026 part number, EGS52 with 030.
Thanks for the offer but my paddles are also hard wired with a combination of a W210 and a W220 clock spring

greetings, Fabian

Stall converter unleash the hiding power that the engine already has, great mod.,,

also it's 10lbs lighter than stock , and reduce some of rotation mass, it's idea to go with..
