W210 Mercedes E55 AMG Project

We'll run the car on a Dyno both before and after the remap, so we can accurately show the results of their work.
Of course I'll make sure I cover the entire process on video

It's well worth it. I had mine done with Logic Lab Tuning out of Chicago. I have to take my ecu out and mail it to them. The shifting and remapping makes the gears all so much smoother and responsive, going thru the transmission. Also, they took the delimiter out, hence my engine has no speed limit
IMO, I think you should put the headers in before the tune as you do not want to retune the engine again after you put the headers in later. I paid USD249.00 for the ecu tuning. Not sure how much Euro Charged cost for theirs. I think it was a good deal and have no regret on it. You will not be disappointed. The only thing I regret is that I haven't had a chance to do a dyno on my car yet.
Here's the link on the ecu and the header thread that I started awhile back....

I don't plan on supercharging it, so this is it
The shopping list is growing daily for this part of my project. I already have a very low milage S/C I'm negotiating a price on, and I just had confirmation back on turnaround times for my custom low-compression Mahle piston and ring set.
I'll make sure I keep posting updates, videos and photos
Needless to say, I'm sure it will look and perform very well! You had an N/A engine prior to this correct? It's not an M113K upgrade, it's an M113 conversion? Also, who is doing your remap once everything is plumbed in?
Considering the main differences in the motor are forged internals, some plumbing and the S/C itself, it's much easier to just supercharge your W210 than do the transplant you speak of.
The transmission in the W210 and W211 are the same as far as I am aware, it's how it is controlled (TCU etc) which may differ?
I'm only speaking from knowledge I've gained from doing my own research and asking questions myself, so I hope this reply helps and good luck with finding your answers

I've done a few engine transplants over the years and they never go as easy or cheap as you think they will.
My question was of curiosity not intent
What compression ratio are you aiming for with the custom pistons?
