Hmm, never thought about that. They were on there from the factory, I just figured it was to prevent flexing and distortion of the pipes.

Recharged my ac system. Finishing painting my e63 calipers, waxed my car. Also test fitted my E63s wheels. They fit perfect in the rear, needs a 5/7mm spacer up front.

Tell us more about the SHR transmission and are those 19" E63 wheels? Have a full side shot?

I debated those wheels and the propeller wheels but went with the 2011 E63/ CLS63 split spokes.

Just their base model build. Nothing fancy, shifts great and very quickly.

front wheels need a 5/10mm spacer to fit. Rears fit no problem.

Installed my Kleemann headers over the weekend. I was just as complicated as everyone says. Luckily no studs broke off in the process. It not much louder than before.
I am running the following
headers down pipes xpipe resonator (might remove this later) muffler

37 front 52 rear. Front needs a 5/7mm spacer.

rear fits perfect, could even use a 10mm spacer to get closer to the fender

Very nice... Please tell us about those calipers, what car did they come off and did you have to use any spacers/brackets etc? Also please posts a side view of your car to see the wheels, 19" right?

Hey! That's my old car. Love it. Glad it is going to live on and be properly restored.

Kind of missing it. Doubt I'll ever get a chance to own one again since the prices are starting to go up.

I DROVE IT! After sitting, in favor of my e39 M5 and some other toys, for a couple months, I detailed it and put 30miles on it. Loved it, drives like new. About to hit 60k miles. Great car!

Bought a set of 2 rear monos, with some curb rash. Test fit them on the front, they fit just barely. Need to get some tires and I'll try running a square setup.
