18" AMG wheel weights?
Does anyone know the weight of our 18" AMG wheels.
Anyhelp here as I know someone will have that before I go pulling the wheel?
Thanks - BTW - I'm having Chris @ C2D start with my Kleemann Stage 2 next Monday along with a few different ideas to run stronger thru the gears.
I'll fill you in if Chris @ C2 can get it to work.
I went from stock 18s with 245/40 and 275/35 (Pilot sports) to BBS LMs 19" with 245/35 and 275/30 (PS2s).
The weight of each wheel plus tire was:
Stock 18s- 52lbs (front)
57lbs (rear)
BBS LM 19s- 48lbs (front)
50lbs (rear)
I saved a total of about 22lbs in unsprung weight. You can do even better if you want to invest in HRE comp series (See member Vic55). Also, I think Volk makes some very light weight wheels for our cars.
Thanks for the info - On a different note - How do you like your Kleemann stage 2? Was it a big difference or simply a "nice" upgrade?

I'm a big fan of K2. Listed below are a couple of threads you may wish to review. They are about my experience with Kleemann and they may give you a better idea of what to expect from this upgrade.

Good Luck.
This is absolutely great reading and has me itching to get my car to C2D NOW!! (instead of next Monday)...THANKS!
Your info and trap speeds @ 123mph has me re-thinking my slight change from normal LSD's that people are doing.................
I'll explain the whole transformation sometime in the next day or 2.
Thanks again - Your attention and detail of the K2 transformation along with explanations at every stage w/Dyno has put me much more at ease!!
