I think it would be worthwhile... I had my motor port and polished on both the intake and exhaust side of the cylinder manifolds, plus the exhaust from the headers back are all new. Actually, Josh at HOP recommended making a larger throttle body for my car. I think it should bolt right up, since the superchargers are almost the same. I've already had the cylinder heads flow bench tested and it showed 15% gain. Instead of having HOP "re-invent the wheel" by copying your kit, I thought it would be easier to just get the VRUS kit.

No problem Michael.. You let me know whenever you are ready and I'll get one for you.. I think there are 7 or 8 TBs left in inventory at this point. I will verify..

Install date is set. Monday of next week. 10/9/2006 is D Day.
If none of the guys beat me to it, should have some results next week.
The guys at the shop are in awe of the VRUS knowledge.
"You know you need a new Y Pipe, this guy in Canada even gave you the Y Pipe you need and everything??"
Me, "Yup"

I was told expect 30 - 40hp by cleaning up the exhaust ports only and opening them up and also port matching the headers to the new size. This is great for someone who doesnt want to tear down the heads and go hog-wild with them.
The number they threw around for what I want done is 70-90hp.. We'll see soon enough..
Jim,
Tell your shop thanks for kind words! And tell them not to be afraid to call me on my cell if they have any questions about the install.. Its pretty straight forward so they should have no trouble, but, I am here if they need me.
Good luck buddy!
He called and left a message on my voicemail at 8:30pm tonight. He said all 3 were finished so I will swing by and go pick them up in the morning.. Was too tired to drag my butt across town to go get them tonight.
They'll be packed and out via Fedex tomorrow afternoon.. The fedex system will email you guys tracking #'s automatically.. They'll go international economy so you'll have them in 2 days.
Darren, You wuss!! (j/k buddy)... You better hurry up and decide because there are only 7 left in inventory and I've got 4 names already.. LOL...
Dave,
hahaha.. See above post to Darren..

You are both very welcome!! Thanks for trusting me to put this together for you guys.
Just please remember that when these are installed that you will be increasing the airflow to the motor quite a bit. While the install is happening disconnect the battery and then reconnect it at the end of the install. This will allow the ECU to relearn once you start the car back up again.
Give it 150 - 200miles BEFORE you do the dyno. That will give the ECU sufficient time to adjust to the new airflow.
Good luck to all of you guys!
Let me know what you think of the kit once you've received it and had a chance to look it over.. Any suggestions or feedback from anyone is welcome.
P.S-> Dont forget.. Follow my suggestions a page or two back to test the electronic functioning of the TB before half your motor is ripped apart. Once that new S/C inlet gets installed, the stock TB WILL NOT work anymore and your car will be stranded there should there be a problem with the TB. Getting parts from Germany takes 2 or 3 days.

During my drive home tonight I made a decision that this will be the last run of TBs.
They take ALOT of my time to put together and coordinate and I need to start concentrating on the Heads & Twin Turbo project.
I ask that any of you that are on the fence please decide if you want one within the next day or two, because once I run this last batch I wont get back to them for a while. I've ordered the parts for most of the kits already but I havent started the CNC plate machining yet. I need to make the CNC plates all at once so I will wait until Monday of next week to put the order in for the CNC plates.
Don't mean to pressure you guys, but, it makes it alot easier for me to do them in batches rather than 1 at a time.
