Evan,
STD and SAE are just 2 standards for measuring power and torque.. they use different calculation methods.. Both offer corrected and uncorrected readings; that has nothing to do with it.. The STD calculations always read higher than the SAE ones..
SAE seems to be the industry standard so I try to stick with those now.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

thanks for dyno graph!
Now, were you ever able to get a baseline dyno with a functional pump and stock motor? Your ASP numbers seem about right, I'm just wondering how your car did stock?
Victor mentioned that my dyno graph showed a STD reading not SAE corrected. What are the differneces with these two reading and how is the math done?

The STD correction factor was an algorithm used back in 1990 and before. SAE is a newer correction factor. STD does tend to how slightly higher numbers, but as long as the car was consistent throughout the testing (comparing STD to STD numbers and not STD to SAE), then the gains you are seeing will likely be very similar. You can contact your dyno shop and they can change it to SAE in about 10 seconds. However, I wouldn't expect to see a big difference in the change in hp between before and after (ie if you saw 42hp w/STD you will probably see just about the same in SAE), just the actual numbers will likely shift down.
Again, if you search this forum and others, it is very common for an ASP pulley to add 35-45rwhp with no other mods on a stock car. Yes, it looks like your car could benefit from tuning, but keep in mind that a car like yours with pulley and a tune should be putting down closer to 55-65rwhp. Anything gains above that would likely be do to the headers.
Good luck!

I wonder too, the pump was replaced after the pulley was installed, so no true baseline.

Money back guarantee huh>>>>LOL!
Rocket, you have a stake in this scanguage company?
I think I'm better off finding someone locally who has a data logger who is willing to load it to me for an hour vs. spending that money for probably a few uses.
But, IF i choose to get one, Scanguage it is![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Thanks for the info

Yeah.. I myself have run into situations where because of fans or lack of cooling or whatever that the car just doesnt show the numbers on the dyno... but if you put it on the street it tells a completely different story.
That's why I want a dyno that is capable of simulating load (real road conditions) for our shop.

The first set of Long tubes + center section exhaust just came back from the coating shop.
There are 2 different coatings applied to it.. there is both an internal and external coating applied to make the exhaust as efficient as possible.
Notice that both the collectors on the longtubes and the catalytic converters are made in such a way that they can be easily replaced..
The collector can be taken out and we can experiment with different sizes based on the customer's configuration of engine and other ancillary components.
The catalytic converters can also be completely removed and replaced with a straight pipe section for those days when you just want to set off all the neighbouring car alarms... LOL..![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Here are a few pics to wet the appetite...![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Nice! ... I assume the different header layout is to overcome fitting restrictions, but will these fit RHD cars?

Steve.. I dont think they will fit because of the location of the steering rack..

Not yet.. There are a couple of sets going on complete cars.. Havoc's SL55 is getting them along with heads & cams and just about everything else.
There is also an E55 up here that I am building up which is getting the long tubes & midsection exhaust + pulley, ecu, TB, cams and airbox.
I have 1 stock E55 up here that will be getting the long tubes also.. I will get a chance to put them on the stock car and see what it can do, then slowly add pulley, TB, and everything else, 1 at a time.
I'll have some dynos to share of different build levels very soon.

As far as I know it doesnt.. the rear O2 harness has to be cut and lenghened.. Worst case, we can address the CEL with the ECU tuning.. We can turn it off so it doesnt throw a code.
Do the ECU last and if it becomes an issue I will take care of it in the programming.

This Friday I will Finally be going to hit the track ever since installing my log headers, filters, pulley and 030 pump.
Conditions will be similar to my stock runs
Also have better rear tires (toyo t1'rs)
