That was the plan with the S550.. We just need more hours in the day to work on all the things we want to accomplish. its not a huge demand so its not really high on the priority list.

Its easy.. just get 3 wires of the same gauge.. Cut and extend each wire.. use electrical tape and put a wire loom around the wires..

This Might Be A Stupid Question But Will They Work On A E500? If So Would There Be Any Gains?

Hello,

What is the exact thickness of the flanges on the headers? I want to know so they won't warp. Are they 1/4 inch, 3/8ths inch, half inch? Also if they are too thick won't they not allow the nut to go on properly.

sorry for the noob question.

We have 2 more sets of Longtube headers + midsection exhaust coming out of the coating shop...

If anyone needs a set, now is a good time...

Well shoot. Mine's not stock, I have the VR550. I'd be interested though, what's the cost? Also do you have any of the shorties for an SL55 in stock? I keep going back and forth between the longs and shorties. Without a dyno for the longs it's hard to make a decision.

We are now making another variation of the longtube header which will be aimed at the high horsepower cars..

We saw through tuning JakPro's car with heads & cams that the engine is just starving for air...

We are now making a longtube stepped design.. They will be 1 3/4" coming off the exhaust ports, stepped up to 1 7/8" into a 3" or 3.5" collector (we will be testing to see which is better). We will then tack on a 3" midsection all the way back to the rear mufflers.

This design is the best compromise for low end torque and high end horsepower. It will be going on our VR700 car that is being built in Houston..

I will post some progress shots of the custom fabrication work once it begins.. (it is scheduled for next week)

Hey Victor,

Would you recommend running your current set of Long tube headers if one were only going to do the ecu/pulley and MAYBE the TB upgrade later on or would you recommend waiting for the new Long tube headers to come out?

I personally don't see myself doing anything more then the ecu/pulley, long tube headers, and the 80MM TB. The TB is a MAYBE too later down the line...after I get the ecu/pulley and headers in the summer time -ish...HOPEFULLY...

The current longtubes, if used with the midsection exhaust, is sufficient for what you want to use them for... Chiromikey's car is basically this setup and he is making some great power and has run low 11.4's with that combo.

The new stepped header + 3" exhaust will be just for heads & cams setup..

Vic/Vadim - Are the shorty's still around? Maybe an old set sitting in the corner collecting dust that I could take off your hands?
