License plate light

The largest selection of leds is found at http://spectrumled.com/festoon.htm
They have the resistors you will need to prevent "bulb out warning"
Here is a link to pics of install in a W210 almost the same procedure

Hoen recently came out with 5 watts halogen festoon bulbs that would fit our application. It may not be as bluish as the Lexus lights, but still much whiter than stock.

JLeviSW also came out with these LED license plate lights. I'm not sure what the specs are but I'll be contacting them shortly.

The bulbs have lasted over a year, no problems. I have forgotten the size/length of the bulb, so measure one of yours before you order.
but don't comment in it, or they'll flip out on you for not driving a c class lol

2 X 100 ohm ceramic resistors hard mounted to circuit board, I tested it for 1.5 hours and the resistors never got too hot to touch. I just mounted the circuit board so that it would not touch any thing any way, I also insulated the soldered electrical connections on the board with a generous amount of epoxy.
