updated pics...rough pics
I just got it back from the bodyshop and its also covered in pollen. I'll clean it up this weekend.
smoked taillights, 3rd brakelight, side markers. installed carbon lip spoiler, repainted front bumper cover, painted grille.
I also installed 20" HREs and lowered the car via Star Diag.
Not too bad looking..it'll look better when i clean it up.

They're 893s. 285x25x20 and 255x30x20 Yokohamas.
I was thinking I wanted to lower it a little more. My Benz service center lowered it for free, so it was worth a try.
The tint has been done with clearcoat mixed with pearl.

I personally like 19s better..20s are too big~
but, if u r gonna keep those 20s, i say drop it more and powder-coat the center to match ur theme (blacked out) other than that,

yeahhhh..im not into flat black. im not into the black centered wheels anymore at all. They're played out. I've had black centered wheels for over 12yrs. I really like my dark gray centers, its a little different, very CL/S/SL65ish.
I'll be cleaning up the 843s and running them soon enough.

the pics dont do the car justice...i cleaned up the car today and i think it looks a lot better.
My thing is that the chrome emblems, door/bumper trim and other small items pick up the chrome wheels nicely. I wouldn't do black emblems, I'd take everything off before I did that. I do think the taillights are a little too dark, but I think with the amber markers on the front bumper gone and the turn signals in mirrors gone it looks the part.
I do like the 19's better then the 20's, but the paint was coming off the 19's and HRE was being a piece of **** and wanted to charge me to refinish them even though they were under warranty. So I'll be fixing them myself and putting new skins on them.
I also think that the 20's make it more of a cruiser then a sport sedan. I've always enoyed just cruising around and not making a specticle of myself. I have other cars for that. So, with that said...it is what it is...some people lke it...some people don't. Can't please everyone...
