Man you are going crazy with this beast, when you get it all done lets go back up to Sac and make some runs. I want to try some runs on the stock 18's and see if I can pull off a 118mph pass and break into the 11's.

Well I started the install last night and ran into on little snag. Need to run out today and buy a Torx Socket in order to drop the exhaust. Hope to have things finished up tonight.

I should be receiving my HEM any day now, and I'm planning on tackle it myself too.
Can you please post up the Torx Socket size? That is the only tool Im missing as well.
Thanks.

Yeah thx to Brain I decided to tackle it myself. I followed his DYI but will add a few notes of my own when completed. I will let you know the size when I get home tonight in about an hour.

The install should be easy and you get a great feel for what else you want to do tothe exhaust.

Anyways, Victor told me that they were shipped by Vadim two days ago, but as of right now I still have not received it. I live a hour away from Vadim... I have yet to call Vadim for the tracking number though. Maybe I'll do that later.

Ok as promised I would give you guys some added notes to BrainS DYI Header Install. First I would recommend is try to use a lift if all possible as that will make the job 10 times easier. Currently I am using Car Ramps that I purchased from Kragen along with a floor jack. I would rate this DYI more like a 6-7, 10 being the hardest. It is very time consuming and somewhat difficult due to tight areas. I am going on my 3rd night and so far put in about 6 hours. I figure I should have it complete in about another 2 hours. It's taken me longer as I stopped the 1st night because I didn't have any Torx Sockets in order to remove the exhaust from the headers. I would recommend start on the drivers side as there is a little more involved having to disconnect the steering arm in order to gain access to the underside bolts of the header. Make sure to mark the spark plug wires as you start to remove them, this made it easier for me in order not to get them mixed up. Take your time as it can get a let frustrating during the process.
Here is the Torx bolt that is connects to the exhaust and header, I used a E14 I believe it's a 3/8" size Torx Socket. I will double check again tonight to make sure. I just bought a total set for $19.99.

Never use cheap tools as you can see from this pic. This was a 10mm socket to remove the header nuts.

When I was removing the header nuts some of the studs came out, not a big deal I used a vise-grip to remove the nut. Just hand screw the studs back into the engine block.

The VRP headers are much easier to install then the OEM's as there is more room to screw on each bolt as you can see the distance from the pic.

One thing I learned the hard way is make sure to disconnect your battery as one of the header gaskets hit the starter wire and caused some sparks, talk about a wake up

Yeah, I paid for mine on the 1st of August. I was told by Victor that Vadim was waiting on the exhaust gaskets from the dealer before he can ship it out to me... And for some reason that exhaust gasket made a two weeks delay
Anyways, Victor told me that they were shipped by Vadim two days ago, but as of right now I still have not received it. I live a hour away from Vadim... I have yet to call Vadim for the tracking number though. Maybe I'll do that later.

LOL, well it could be my dumbass not knowing how to upload them correctly. I can attach them but it won't be in order to my notes.
