MHP AMG 63 Thermalnators
Unlike some of you guys I put my money where my mouth is and I track my car on a very regular basis, both road courses and at the strip.
I fully intend on testing both items on my car and I will report back honest, un-biased feedback. If the stuff sucks, I'll take it off my car and let you all know it sucks, if the stuff works as promised you guys will be thanking me and rushing out to buy yours. You guys all know I'm a vocal and opinionated *****, I'm gonna speak my mind openly and honestly, so give me a week or so to get this stuff installed on my car and get it tested. Until then give this guy a break and wait for me to report back.
And now there is talk that "IF THEY EVER DO IT?" If we don't see any proof that this mith even is in the works , I say we lay the mith to rest
. So VRP show us something, that is if you are really working on Supercharging the 63's. Sorry but I think it's time to show your hand, If you have one

Similar thing is going on in this thread. All of this negative BS is being posted, but yet the views and pages keep getting more attention than any other thread here in our E55 section.
I also sponsor a different car forum, and one of the rules is that competing vendors stay out of each others threads, Ill assume that Mbworld is the same way. I think if Vadim never said anything on this thread, it would not have gotten as much attention as it has, and most of you guys would be viewing VRPs threads right now, like you normally would. Vadim is a friend of mine, but I think posting in this thread hurt him more than it helped.
As for Andy, I think you have some big *****. You have not backed down to anyone here, I commend you for that, even some of the well known loudmouths.. ie Jangy

I can appreciate what your trying to do, and now I really hope that your product is going to be as strong as you insist it will be, because if it isnt, youll be out of here so fast, you wont know what hit ya.

Keep on going, you are putting on the "show" that I have seen many insist a vendor provide when they are NOT willing to post.
You manner is arrogant and at time condescending, again not unique here.
In the end the products will be the only thing that matters and regardless of how your attitude here. There will be someone that wants to try something new if it will give them bragging rights. If it works, the word will go out and you will have more business. Now if your products cause something to f-up, like a fried tranny, you better have an extra on the shelf and service the hell out of them. Right now it's all just chest beating. Give this forum something real to turn on you about and it gets crazy.
I have actually watched this forum demoralize a couple of good guys and as a result they folded up shop and went away. My impression is that you are a lot more thick skinned.

Ok, not following again? The only question I can answer (because I don't know what you're asking in the rest) is the last one. I always dyno on the same dynojet 248 using SAE correction, 1:1 (5th gear), with smoothing set at 5 with hood closed and two large fans blowing at the front of the vehicle.
Always? If so, how do you measure drivetrain loss and measure how your TCU mod adds power? 5th gear is 1:1 in what car? The 65? WRONG.

The only way I'll race you (for something other than fun) without nitrous (and again it's total BS that you can have a blower but I can't spray) is after my H/C/I package goes on, which is after CAIs/longtubes/exhaust. Not going to lie it's probably not all going to happen by November--especially if the first set of heads goes to someone else.

Are you talking about Heffner? He builds nice turbo kits no question, but if he doesn't already he needs to swap different slugs in his Gallardo's.
Heads on these motors are "reasonable", fwiw, I also consider the assembled/built Ford GT heads on my N/A 5.4 (pics shown prior) to be reasonable at $10k.
Honestly it's REALLY hard to grenade a N/A stock longblock or even just shortblock motor to the point that I would think you would have to set out with the intention of blowing **** up to do so.
The reason I bought my C63 was so I could test as many parts/tunes as I could on my own personal vehicle before sending them out to our customers. To date we have NEVER lost a motor (one that we've built, or just tuned) and that I believe is a pretty mean feat in its own right--especially considering the builds we have taken on and that we don't tune everything we sell.

N/A is obviously going to be at a huge disadvantage to FI no argument there, however again I ask what kind of rwhp/rwtq are you making? I think we can get a H/C/I 6.2 with supporting bolt-ons to make the same kind of rwhp you do, just not the tq. I guess we'll find out soon enough...
DT loss is measured by coast down, we've found it to be right at 16-17% on my car at present. This may drop by a point or two with more miles (dyno'd at 600 miles). 5th gear is 1:1 in a 7A which my car (you know, the one in question) happens to have. Obviously it's 4th in most other vehicles.

To give you an idea of what is being done:
- CLK BS widebody panels
- Custom dual exhaust
- VRP 63 headers
- VRP S/C upgrade (first pass will be for stock internals.. second pass will be higher boost and built bottom end.
)- VRP VR530 Kit
- VRP 63 Coilover kit
- VRP 2piece brake upgrade kit
- Quaiffe LSD setup
- Custom wheels (havent decided on which ones yet)
There is a bunch more going into it, but the S/C is the first R&D project Vadim will be tackling.
We'll post progress of the project car as we move along.

My entire car was a friggin experiment, nobody offered anything for ANY 63 before I sent my car to Evosport. You gotta roll the dice in life, I did and look at the results...an 11.4 NA all motor 1/4 pass out of a 63, the very same car most of you all wrote off as slow and non-tuner friendly. I'm not affraid to take a chance or break something, I am well aware of what happens when you play with fire. You all better pray I don't blow my motor up, because I will build it bigger, stronger and faster than any other MB any of you have ever seen...don't believe me? Stay tuned, becasue it's not a matter of if as much as it is a matter of when.
