WOW, another possible great way to increase HP in our cars!!!
If possible, can we get a pic of the shields around the air-intake or whatever it is that is preventing the hot air under the hood from being sucked up. I am very interested, but just wanted to see all of the parts for this air-intake mod. Thanks.

sorry guys i have just been really busy..... too much work... but i dont know if that is such a bad thing these days

the car stock has 516 torque at the crank and now my car has 513 torque at the wheels.... im pretty sure that that is more than stock... i put the effort in for sure..... 
i put up this tread to share my experience with a new product and you make an attack on my car? why may I ask.....i hope i am not over reacting...
and as i said earlier my car is running a mild tune because i do not have a Heat Exchanger yet, after i get it, i will have it retuned by LET (who gives free retunes for life, unlike anyone else) and get more hp....
....ok i am done venting...
back to the cool intake

HE will not give you HP it will just help with the heat issue from the pulley.

I think you lost power with the tune, just a pulley itself should generate more hp than stock. LET should have picked up on that immediately, on the other hand your ecu may have been flashed by MB.

HEAT SHIELD PICS!!!
here is the pic of the heat shield. the thing that the red arrow is pointing to is something that i did and does not come with the intake. I tried to use weather stripping to seal off the small area between the heat shield and the hood. Its brown unfortunately, but i am working on finding one that works!

My car is plenty fast right now....or at least for the time being...
If I end up needing...I mean wanting more power, this will definitely be up there on my next to do list...

if sound is all you want, DON'T spend money for it!!! just remove the plastic insulation seal attatched to the back/bottom of the hood.

the sound from the intake is more of a whining sound....
i dont even know if this can be achieved from removing the insulation
