CLK 63 Black Series, 2009 S550, 2011 Range Rover Supercharged, BMW F800 GS Anniv Edition
Huh ?? Out the door the car is ~ $150k. There is no way he only has 10 or 20k in mods and he for sure does not have 160-170k in mods on top of the purchase price.

I'm not sure yet, we have over ten MB/AMG (more including the Jeeps/SRT8s coming) cars with our tuning running but I can't say for sure yet if an E55 will be one of them.

So after all this debate, time, and arguing, no results??? Hardware(?) failures shut the show down?
I was expecting to see some real numbers and results, staying tuned. I really do hop we can learn to get along together better. It's just a friendly competition. Should be anyway.

We should be able to order a new ECU in and flash it in the next 10 days, but per our conversations Jim is far from any decent track and the only dyno in town is run by someone that apparently doesn't like the business.
What's a typical VRP700 package run in the 1/4 and make on the dyno?
Jeff will be dynoing our v2 tuning against his Renntech tune on Tues and Jrcart will also be hitting the rollers soon. Both have posted positive impressions thus far.
We have a C63, E63, CLK55, CL600, and CLS63 (all ECU/TCU) slated to go out this week. You'll have enough objective data to swim in, in the next few weeks, then of course comes MIR.

So far all signs point to a hardware failure for the reasons listed above by Jim, myself, and others. We'll take a look at the code/hardware on Tues when we get the ECU back to verify, but again if it was a software issue it would've been prevalent the first time the flashed ECU was installed.

The standard Powerchip tune is different than the VRP spec'ed tune. The VRP tune was customized on the dyno (Jangy's car) under Vadim's supervision. The tune was developed exclusively for VRP to work in harmony with VRP's performance parts (pulley, headers, throttle body, etc....), and I think took over a month of custom calibration. So far, there has not been a negative review of the VRP spec'ed tune what so ever ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

Well...your friend started this thread to provide a great comparison test at the track. He went through great lengths to do this for everyone's benefit. I would have thought that out of respect for him you and anyone else would try to make this thread a productive one (which he explicitly asked for). Laughing at the possibility that he damaged internals shows what type of "man" you are.... and for what... your personal vendetta against other people. Enjoy.... ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
And out of respect for Jim.... if you want to discuss this further...send me a pm...or start another thread...

Never wanted to discuss it at all. Jim knows exactly what he is doing and does not need my sympathy. He knows what he got into. The jab was at MHP (your affiliate) and the statement of never having a failure.

Proven honest results build solid reputations, as such I'm not worried.
Thanks

4 wheeled car.
Then you get butthurt when I ask you "who the hell are you" as in "who is this dude and where's he from and what is this whole MHP tuning thingy?" because you came here and layed down your sack on the table and expected us all to go "wow!"
Fact is, you came here with whatever you came here with, but instead of being a BUSINESSMAN, one who knows how to take care of customers AND obtain new one, you started acting like a big ol' clown.
If you had any business experience, you would have known that speaking ill of your competitors makes you look like a douche bag. It's ok to be competiting and prove a point that "product x is better than product b because abcd" but it's not classy, nor will it make people want to try you out, when you come out and act like a biatch because somebody is looking out for someone by telling them the COMMON SENSE advice to get their s#it dyno tuned before hitting the track with an unknown product.
Fact is, your s#it failed. Ok, so it's probably a busted ECU. Nonetheless, had it been dyno tuned, it probably would've come up....
Clown.

You attacked my contributions for this board. I retorted that I have been contributing to the Benz community(ies), as a whole, for years.

LOL, now it's our fault we didn't dyno tune the car...
