does anyone know anyone who does this professionally? i know there are ppl who do vinyl wraps for ads but i dont trust them to apply the wrap 100% with out a flaw. i looking into it, and it doesnt seem too hard to do yourself but i dont wanna risk it.

i might try going to one of the commercial places (vinyl wrap ads) then, i know where to get the material. i dont want to go to a super upscale shop like unique autosports cuz they will rip me off big time.

i found a shop that does it. anyone interested in seeing how this looks? im most likely gonna commit cuz it protects the paint and can be removed.

That GTR looks like FLAT black to me, not MATTE black. Get the wrap done in MATTE, it will look worlds better.

This is common stuff in the boating industry. Lots of guys I know have their boats vinyl wrapped.

I know a company that has done a carrera GT and Ford GT. They will fly their installer out to you from Cali and wrap your car for ~$3500. Let me know if you want the contact info

The black cars with the SATIN finish (? called matte) look much better than the flat/primer look. All the chrome has to go or it looks silly.

If you change your car color thru one of these wraps would you have to change color in title or dmv as well?
They have to match description I am assuming. Ex white to black....

Good question, I dunno. But technically you aren't changing the color of the car, you are putting something over it

Hey do you guys remember that movie taxi, which had that 7 series beamer with the ac schnitzer body kit and the gloss red vinyl wrap? I bet soon they will make gloss and metalic vinyls for cars too and that will be the next new big thing instead of paint...

I saw this on a ferrari 430 at my local mall, he had black carbon fiber rims with a red lip, all lenses smoked, healthy tint.... It was pretty pristine, I gave it a good walk around.
