Who has the Chrysler aftermarket warranty?
The other thing is that you won't have to spend time driving to the dealer, leaving your car there, and then picking it up later in the day.
I'll gladly pay $250 more to avoid the whole inspection fiasco.

Things changed overnight! Now you guys know why I wanted to avoid the inspection and therefore didn't go through Mark Case. It's just a waste of time.

If you have to pay Chrystler to have it inspected then Michael Case is the cheaper alternative.
I hope they know that there's no dipstick to check the oil!
warranty paid for itself in 1 visit to the dealer.
i did not have to get a pre inspection and you can most def go to a MB dealer and not chrysler. i bought my warrantee directly from chrysler service contracts and they did not need inspection.

This is great news!
I have yet to come across a review on Chrysler regarding a wrongful denial. They are probably one of the few, if not the only 3rd party warranty company that actually DO PAY claims with no BS.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
$100 down and 12 payments. Todd was easy to talk to and answered all my questions thoroughly. I could have gone with unlimited miles but this is my second weekend car and I only expect at the most 7-8K miles a year (like the E55) I could live with the 70000 miles and a little higher deductible ($200 vs $100) for a lower premium.
Thanks gentlemen for all the info.

It seems that Chrysler is the best bet for AMG cars, since they do not differentiate between the AMG models vs regular models as far as rates go, thats where our savings are at.
I had Todd price me a warranty for my 325i, and surprisingly, it is EXACTLY THE SAME PRICE as the E55 Amg. Go figure!

Any ideas would be awesome as I'd like to get it soon.

...Obama said the government will stand behind warranties issued by any of these (chrysler) automakers.
That said, I bought a 3 year warranty from Todd. Very nice guy and extremely smooth transaction.
Chrysler Warranty main #: 1-800-442-2666
On the main menu go with option for new contracts and wait for rep and ask for Todd.
I bought my warranty almost 1 month ago and no inspection required.
After reading a few post lately.. there are 2 different stories.

I'm debating between the Chrysler, GM and Fidelity warranty. I'm a little affraid of GM and Chrysler though because of their situation. GM's warranty may be ok if the go belly up because it's backed by GMAC Insurance Holdings, Inc., MIC Property and Casualty Insurance Corporation and CIM Insurance Corporation. See quote below from their website.
"Obligations under GM Protection Plans and the Mechanical Repair Protection are covered under policies of insurance issued by member companies of GMAC Insurance Holdings, Inc., MIC Property and Casualty Insurance Corporation and CIM Insurance Corporation, respectively."
