HIN on Speed Channel now...Clown w/Challenger SRT8
Some goofy white trash tat'd up stick-man clown on Hot Import Nights, in CA. 
They interview this deuche he says "All I care about is go! no show" "What I really love is the price $40k & I run into a guy w/Mercedes AMG & ALL they see is my tail lights!!" "They paid what $100k-$140k" then laughs like a hiheena, SRT8 looked bone stock except for maybe CAI
I've got a NON AMG that put a MAJOR smack down on a Challenger SRT8,pulled from behind then passed him & continued to pull lengths (albeit the owner of car I raped was totally kool, talked afterwards, it's in this E55 Section under "Great Challenger Story")
Sorry I had to vent!! this guy was such a Toolbox, I'm certain his imaginary "Kills" are as he madly swerves thru traffic when nobody is actually racing him...

lol, i just saw that. he's from socal so i think he's used to racing posers with amg badges cause he's obvioiusly never run into a real amg...let alone a modded one!

You sure that's not the same one from Famoso. Black with orange roll cage? He can run down everyone except a select few. I don't remember what he looked like, but sure was fast.

maybe...but if it was, it was before all the mods so he was definitely speaking prematurely.

either way my point is the Challenger SRT8 or any model SRT8 in Stock form as his was @ the time they taped this show is beating ZERO late model AMG's or 600 model MB's (or older C55/clk55 etc... they Trap the same or higher)Even if it has been modded to hilt after this show, it'll NEVER change the fact this owner is A Clown-*****- DEUCHE....

I'm pretty sure it is the same guy that was at Famoso, I remember reading in one of the pre-Famoso threads that he and his car were on HIN. I'm sure he changed his attitude after Famoso, there were quite a few AMG's running quicker than him that day, I think he was running 11.7's, but the car was gutted, only a drivers seat, no back seats.. He seemed like a nice guy, I thought the car looked good, black with orange roll bar and accents. Like I said he was somewhat quick, but light years away from contending with the top AMG's.

every American name plate forum really advocates how much cheaper is to mod a Ford, GM, Dodge/chrys ect.... and beat Ferrari, Porsche, MB, BMW..
I don't get the facination of trying to beat other people by spending less...
I wonder if those who have this train of thought ever think who the real winner is. The guy who drives the car you can't afford? Obviously he is doing something right and give the man props.
Also.. they always compare MSRP prices when new. Even if the car is 5 years old. Every car depreciates. Specially American name plates.
03 E55's are now in the high 20k.. with a few thousand dollars.. it will be run 120+ high 11's and still be able to take the kids to Disneyland in comfort. That plenty fast for just about any sane person.
How about them apples?
I don't get the facination of trying to beat other people by spending less...

I've seen this episode, even if trailerpark boy's Challenger could outrun a stock AMG, That doesn't make him any less of a D-bag now does it? All you Cali guys should go find this guy and surround him, the way the Black Civics did to the Truck drivers in the 1st Fast and the Furious movie. Teach him not to talk s**t about AMG's.

if that was the same guy (looked like tommy lee) this was long before he modded cause the charger on hin was no where near decked out like the one at famoso. the one at famoso was absolutely stunning to look at so if it was the same guy, he was full of sh*t about saying he wasn't into "show" as much as he was about showing his taillights to amg's.
Also I doubt he was just talking about racing reg MB's w/AMG logo on trunk lid (which is so common in LA/CA) I think he must've run into a few full blown posers, since he obviously knew what top of the line AMG's cost $100k-$140k he must've looked into AMG's a bit on the Internet..
