LOL and so true on the Audi S's as i have owned many S4s and cant count how many times i have to tell people its not a damn A4! lol but once the ride in it they know something is different than a regular A4.. maybe its the 26psi of boost that hits them in the face 
I think most people know the M's are diff than reg bmws though - i think M guys have done real good at telling (bragging) everyone how Ms are the coolest and sooooo different and super battleship race cars from a special planet that every 20yr blonde knows that "he has a M car"

Heading down 610 (Houston) in my E63 when I roll up on this guy...Look over at him and he is smiling and head bobbing to what I presume is something gay like Coldplay. Since I had my resonators removed and straight pipes added (with x-pipe) I let him know what a real AMG sounds like. Pulled up next to him and rolled it to around 5K RPMs and hit it...
.. Dude stopped smiling real quick, sank in his seat and changed lanes. He could of at least lined up his badges if he was going to invent a new car.

Funny you mention the Ms... Ran into an M5 last night with an a** of an owner who wanted to make everyone know he was "king of the road..." Unfortunately, I was in my wife's C300 though and was no match for him... Funny thing is, when he pulled in front of me, blue smoke was spewing through his exhaust tips... Then he has to make his point and weave in and out of traffic only to have to slam on his brakes because he was so concerned with passing people that he didn't pay attention to the red light in front of him... I wish I would have been in the E55!!!
when i see a M car on the road all i see is "the situation" from jersey shore and just want to wreck their day lol

in the bay area (Burlingame, CA)today i saw a gray S-class with a Maybach trunk & hood emblem. it looked like it could of been a S65 cause it had quad tips & he debaged it, i was getting ready to take a pic but the car drove away.

I can't comment anymore...... some people just try to dress up their car which is good thing to do but e55 budget is just simply wrong. Hope he read this thread.

CLS500 poser
Well this morning a spotted another poser, this time it was a women (caucasian) driving a black CLS500 with an AMG badge. We were traveling south bound on I-95 through Dale City and Woodbridge headed towards Quantico and Stafford. I tried to get close to photograph it, but was having a difficult time, as it was morning rush hour. But I did manage to snap a few pictures, nonetheless. Not the greatest photos from an iPhone mind you. I thought that I had capture her face in the last photo, but apparently I didn't. There is no doubt, that she knew that I was driving an authentic AMG, as she was traveling right behind in one instance. But apparently she look obivious to me, riding next to her.

just saw this thread and it is TOO funny... one thing I do remember was way back when I had a W201 and bought the three piece "hammer" looking trunk spoiler, the ///AMG badge did come with the spoiler as if they wanted the owner to put it on despite just being the rear spoiler (this was before MB bought AMG)

Those 2 bumper stickers just scream MORON about the driver (on the white c-class above). The badging is the icing on the cake.
Saw this clown this morning. I walked around the car with a big smile on my face hoping he'd see me not admiring the vehicle. Check out the side badging, I bought 4 of those on ebay for 5 bucks back in the day..
