nah didnt check his account but still think its probably distictly different than the 6.3L sound that he's trying to perpitrate kinda same as if i badged my car with v12 biturbo badges- my car sounds good too, but if i put a v12 badge on there people would know my v8 kompressor sound is not v12 biturbo sound

 

He had fake quadtips before that eisenamnn exhaust
I remember putting my hand under there and feeling the screws
and his car definitely did not sound like that when i saw it last

reminds me of the guy with the Batmobile SLK350 with lambo doors

I tried to get a picture of a W124 200E (I think it was a 200) a few weeks ago that was sporting a crooked AMG badge and a hole in the bumper for his crappy exhaust. Guy was driving like a real whackjob, so I guess he didn't want me to get close enough to take a picture.

I've heard he has now removed the AMG and C63 badges, but has kept the Renntech badge. I doubt anyone at Renntech has seen this car.

I would love to clarify everything to everyone here... I HAVE NEVER CLAIMED TO ANYONE MY CAR AS AN AMG HERE IN FLORIDA. The photo which Moose put up (which I took myself) is over 2 years old and I was not even living in Florida at the time. You can see in my recent video that I only have renntech badges on the side because it is renntech tuned. I do not have any 6.3 badges anywhere. If you want to try and mock me for something I had over 2 years ago on my car thats fine... But I dont want the impression I have it on now. IDK if Moose is trying to fill some sort of personal satisfaction from this, but I am posting pictures of my ride today so I don't hear more crap from anyone...

def never had a fake quad set up... went from real C63 tips and mufflers (which I bought of a guy who had a C63) to the Eisenmann. i have photos to prove that a well...

and you can see in my sig (which i've had for over a year at least) doesnt have the 6.3 badge or the euroaddicts windshield decal anymore.... I think i've made my point.

 

So I roll by wifeys office to have a look at one of her co-workers just purchased CLS500. Well, I was shocked to see the AMG badge. The car does sport the AMG appearance pak. Are dealers putting these badges on or what?

Im afraid me and my mechanic freind must have heard differently when you told him (a certified MB tech) it was a C63. You even had seats from a C63 in there.

As of early 2011, you had C63 badges. I remember seing this car in late march at Towers. You were there multiple times on friday nights consistently. Im not delusional, i know what i saw and felt. I also have a few freinds who were there. One of them (TunedC63) who was a former C63 owner were admiring your ride.

You were sporting C63 badges, C63 seats and fake quad exhaust. It did not sound like a C63 Exhaust. Naturally in my mind (and this is important!!!)at the time you were a poser. Yes they are. I have seen this done personally from three dealers, one was my own CLS when I bought it. I made the dealer remove the AMG and 55 before I took delivery.

 

^^^ the dealers should be shot for that. I wonder what AMG would think about it. The poor guy that bought this CLS is a poser and doesn't even know it.

 

i would think it would be illegal and grounds for a lawsuit as its misrepresentation... its like selling someone a 911 and telling them is a 911 turbo

 

LOL ... I never paid attention to this thread before ... At least these people are putting the badges on the correct brand of vehicle. I have seen AMG badges on BMWs in China ... I need to take pics next time!

 

Back when the W208 CLK430 came out,
MBUSA Dealers were putting AMG badges on them even before the CLK55 came out.

 

Getting caught up on this thread today was a real eye opener for me. I now realize I am a complete idiot for buying an AMG. I could have bought an SL500 or SL550 and badged it up right. To quote someone earlier " what difference does an extra two seconds from zero to sixty make anyway". Oh yeah, I guess I will always be an idiot. I'm concerned about a tenth or two.
