New Wheels and a few other mods. PICS Included

Heres a few pictures of my E55 after my mods.
My mods include
1. Carbon front lip / Eurotech
2. Carbon rear diffuser / Vorsteiner
3. Lowered 1 inch / Adjustable air ride links
4. Oem E63 tail lights
5. Euro 63 Wheels 20X8.5 front 20X10 rear ET35 front and rear
6. Nitto Invo tires 245/30 front 285X25 rear

The car has no hub spacers and does not rub at all. I got the wheels from needforspeedmotors in cali. They are great to work with.

I have to thank member E43sport for helping me out with selecting my mods.
Hes got the grey E55 with total E63 front and rear facelift. Hes got the same wheels I do but I think his cars got Renntech stage 5 also. He dropped his car more than I did though.

Car looks super aggressive compared to stock. In stock form it looked like it was aging a bit. After the mods it looks 10 years newer. I love how the car looks. I was thinking of getting rid of it since I usually dont keep my cars for more than 3 or 4 years max and its an 05. But there is literally no car out there I would rather have right now. Thers nothing faster and nothing that much better looking in 5 door sedans. I just love this car. So I decided to just freshen it up and im in love again. LOL.

I was planning on leaving the engine stock but now I got the mod bug. Im getting cooling upgrade, larger pulley and tune. Any suggestions on what tuner to go with. Im considering VRP or Evosport right. Can anyone help me decide who to go with.

P.S. I threw a Premodded pic in for comparison. I took it at the car wash the day before I had it modded

Very nice!!!! and a big thank you - I also have a black 55 and was considering doing everything you did - right down to your choice of the diffuser (different wheels though - but your's look very nice) so seeing it in pics is very reassuring.

I have two questions: 1) what tint % do you have on it in the pics? 2) could you throw up any more pics of the diffuser - I was hoping to see it from a couple of different angles?

It looks great!!!

Almost better than mine
I think these wheels give our cars much updated/newer look IMO. I love the machine finish and clean/updated lines of the spokes.
Good Job!!

The Wheels were around $2600 shipped

The ride is definately stiffer but i think most of it comes from lowering it an inch. I have it set up now so in comfort mode its at the same hieght it used to be in sport 2 and sport 2 now is an inch lower than the stock sport 2 was.

I drive in comfort mode now mostly its not too bad.
I feel absolutely no loss in power from the bigger wheels. If there is a loss its very small.

I do notice though that the traction control lite comes on more often though.
Im not sure if its because the nittos are not as sticky as the contis or maybe lowering it made a smaller contact patch since I have more neg camber now.

But the car looks so much better I dont really care about the neg side effects. LOL

Im not sure on the %tint it is but I know the only one darker is limo tint. They are very dark. I am gonna take alot more pics over the weekend. I just took those quick after i picked it ip from the shop. I will admit though I think the rear diffusser member E43 sport has on his E55is nicer than mine. But I think the rest of my car is awesome.

sweeeet,

You need to put more air in the tires, otherwise you'll have dints in the wheels.

Yea i guess your right. I only have like 200 miles on them and i heard they need 500 miles to break in. I just hope they are stickier than the contis. I never liked that tire since I got the car. In your opinion are the nittos alot better than the contis? I really wanted the Mich PS2s but they didnt have the size i needed
