V1: Bypassing X and K Band

What's your take? I only have Ka and Laser on, too many false alert in the city with X and K.

Driving on instinct works best for me. To many tickets on the false security of detectors..

besides the rare laser, they only use ka here in az so i'm right there with you.

i've picked up several cops using K. I would definitely completely mute X though

I keep mine on the most sensitive setting at all times and mute the volume. Its mounted right above my rearview, so I can see it light up out of my peripheral vision.

I never pay attention to it unless I'm driving like I need to, and in that case, I slow for anything that appears to be a legitimate threat. Im not willing to risk muting any particular band in the case that a cop was using an old radar. Not worth it IMO.

GOOD point, I'll turn on K band as well.

i turned off X and K bands... too annoying...
u can't just mute X band...
