My buddy Drew met with up with stock beasts and took some real world videos...

Not bad for a little 4 liter with relatively cheap mods:

wow - that CTS-V is a monster. I still gotta say the MB doesn't do too bad for a 4-5 year old car. Makes us stock guys think we need to do the 550hp upgrade. LOL!

thanks for sharing

Thanks man, but once he gets a tune and pulley he's gone, gonna need a SC'R to keep up, rematches will happen then.

The new M3 is a great car, huge improvement on the E46, I had one for a week whilst my car was being repaired.

I really did not wont to like it but I did... LOL, 1 night I was playing poker with the boys for like 8 hours straight, I was tired, got in the car fired it up and i was alive again, roads were empty, i drove its nuts off for about 1 hour (i live 10mins away), it was allot of fun, handles so well and the V8 sings its heart out at 8k rpm!

cool videos..

DCT is a really works very well from a roll. specially in 1st gear and 2nd gear.

most races seem to about 110+... but they represent true street/highway racing.

Try telling that to the E46 cats! Haha, all good the E46 is still is a great car and at first I thought the E92 would fall short, but having owned both, the E92 IMHO is a superior car in every way.

LOL, they need to drive one! I Had 04 SMG for 2 years, I thought, nah... E46 is king! Then i drove E92 and I was like, Sh*t what a car! Its close to perfect, just feels like it could do with a bit more power. You obviously felt the same..

Good videos. I was suprised by some of the outcomes. As soon as the supercharger kits are released for the M3 I may pick one up seeing as how the supercharger for the 63 has been cancelled...

Sick M3 DLSJ5! Love your videos too! I noticed that you sometimes race without your back seats like in the CLK63 BS video, and when you ran the CTS-V you had the seats in. Do you think that if you were pull them out, you would have been even with the CTS-V? I guess all I am trying to say is, does the weight of the rear seats effect the performance a lot or marginally?

Thanks

Thanks Bro!

Regarding the rear seats, based on the many comparo runs, I don't think it did much, if anything.

Appreciate that, I've been pleasantly surprised with the E92, of course with a few bolt on's that E55 would get me, and the CTSV would pull more, still I was happy with the results. BTW your signature is flat out the TRUTH! Love it!

What I would like to know is how in the world do you find everyone to race you lol. I want to race a CTS-V and even went on their forum. After watching this video its obvious that the CTS-V would have walked the E55 hard but I want to see it happen to my E55 because I'm 100% sure my 55 is healthy.

Seen videos where the CTS-V is barely quicker than a M5, barely. Have also seen where the E55 and M5 are neck to neck. All stock. Was something wrong with the E55 in the video? Or perhaps that V was not stock. The M3 is surely quick, just seem the E55 was slower than normal.

I wanted to say the same thing not taking away anything from the M3 because I know it is quick. I was thinking maybe that E55 has issues. I know a while back when I had my IC pump issues my car was definetly not running full potential.

After the 3rd run he said something was wrong, not exactly sure what but that his SC'r was off and that he had to wait a bit for it to come back on, we didn't do anymore runs after that. Evidently that CTSV and E55 are even up to 80 after that the CTSV pulls away.

Here's a stock CTSV against a stock M5.

I ran a Modded M5, pretty close.
