Hi,
Just got my MB Star C4 today but didn't work out yet.
Have some questions and need advice:
1) Do I need additional power supply to the mutiplexer ?
- I guess no need. Just 2 cables, one to computer through RS232, one to Car's ODBII. But why I ask because I see there is a power adaptor sticking out of the RS232 cable/connector. Power should be supplied by vehicle's through ODBII all the time.
2) I don't have RS232 on my Lenovo T400 so I use USB-RS232 convertor. I know Oxygen confirmed it work since I saw pictures of Oxygen's setup. But do I need to do any additional configuration for this setup ? Or do I need to do any configuration to RS232 ?
3) Now the VM is working and after connecting vehicle through DAS I got error msg and not sure how to proceed to move further.
I looked through all posts under this thread and saw so many nice works done here by MB Star. I can't wait to give it a try.
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas !

@haoz129 well that is the USB to serial I tried to use and I dont think that it works for SDS. you will need a PCMCIA serial Card/Adapter for a laptop. I know they work for sure unless someone chimes in on which USB to serial works with SDS

all cars are a little different but same concept. I lowered a CL600, difference was it has speeding lowering, which my W211 doesn't.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
Those cars are as easy as an E55. Provided no ABC which is more of a hassle to deal with. Lowered a S550 early this morning and a E55 after. Both went quickly.

Regarding flashing brake lights.
The link below shows how it looks like with flashing brakelights on a E63. You need to have a certain speed, and you have to brake hard, it's constant red (as normal) for a second and then it starts to flash...

This thread is too long to read ever post, so far all I can see is how to turn the fan on, lower your car, and turn the beep feature on... Is there any others that I missed. Anyone figure out how to take off the limiter and video in motion? Thanks

If you are too lazy to read what already been shared, I'm pretty sure we're too lazy to spoon-feed you that same exact information.
