Which is a good / the best IC pump?
I read all threads about cooling and IC pump, but I only read about the johnson pump.
But the facts of the CM30 tell me that there is only a little difference in flowing to the bosch pump.
Has anyone find a better pump than the johnson pump or can anyone tell me the appreciable things about the CM30?

i have the cm30 very reliable.
theres the meziere pump and the cm90. understand that unless you upgrade the heat exchanger there wont be much use to go bigger than the cm30

After you install a larger H/E and separate the circuit, your objective is to increase the turbulence of the flow through the exchangers to maximize heat exchange. Turbulence stirs up the coolant exposing more of it to the surface of the passageways which in turn sweeps away more heat. There is only 1 way to increase turbulent flow. Max out GPM. It is interesting to me that all the commonly utilized pumps - cm30, cm90, Meziere, 2nd gen. Bosch - produce very similar GPM figures given the major limiting factor in the system, the I.D. of the intercooler and H/E piping -3/4". One pump might have a larger diameter impeller, but run slower, another a smaller impeller running at a faster speed. But considering all run on 12v / 4-7 amps, guess what? The little bosch and the big cm90 all push a very similar GPM through the restrictions of the intercooler system. The sole manner in which the GPM can be increased to a level increasing turbulence enough to make a difference is 2 parallel pumps. Forget about serial pumps. Pump matching and placement is very tricky; generally you will see the same to slightly less GPM with serial pumps in this system.

I got the meziere pump... Thing is huge compared to the cm30 and will have to be played with quite a bit to make it fit in there... Currently it's held with zip ties till I get a heat exchanger and then I will mount it permanently to a custom bracket.. It does work much better recovering IAT temp when under wot.. It brought my temps down sooner and more consistently than stock pump.
