The large injectors opened up a lot of new doors.

A big thanks to you and Jerry for opening up a whole new world of tuning for these motors! I drove my dad's CLS yesterday after Jerry finished dynoing and holy crap I've never felt a 55 motor respond like that. Our CLS 55s are heavy as heck but the way the tires broke loose in second (just like Shardul) like that was a shocker! I actually had to seriously correct my steering since I didn't expect that to happen. I can't wait for Jerry to apply the same file parameters to my CLS 55. Thanks Brook and Jerry!!!

Do it man! As soon as Jerry finished dynoing my dad's CLS yesterday, I had to meet up with him. We switched cars the rest of the afternoon and words can't even describe how the car felt. As soon as you get your ECU reflashed, let me know what you think. You'll totally forget how heavy our cars are. I seriously cant wait to get this file on my CLS. Luckily Jerry only lives 30 minutes away from me

The dyno I use is 1.5 hours away, so I get there when I can.. VIOLENT is the word! My shifts are 80% quicker but that is not the wild part.. All the transitions between shifts, Boost and full power has changed. You would be suprised how much TQ MGT is going on at every throttle stage. My CL has more than the E55`s and it sucked but gone now! More power at all times and things get wild! Lot of fun!
BTW, add another 7hp to the 20 RWHP/22 TQ gain on the CLS, as my update was not the final one.. My road file was put into the CLS and then tweaked on the dyno for more gains over the best dyno tune it had in it!
My car on Sunday, before the road tune was quick but after about the 8th flash, something kicked in and car was in ROAD RAGE mode! S/C was screaming, tires spinning, tranny shifts crisp and holding a solid 11.5 A/F across the range.. Like I said, Jerry changed and altered about 10-15 new parameters that I have not heard of or seen altered yet on AMG`s.. He was super cool and went over them with me.. Many of the parameters had to be custom translated into english from German.. So all this takes a lot of work, testing and research..

Before anyone thinks he's a booze hound, I was only joking, he lives in Katy. Top guy that one, come on down get a tune already, I was shocked at what his "box tune" did for my car when it was 100% stock, let alone what the last tune did for it with a pully.

I'll also be at the November cars and coffee, I've seen some E55's out there before. You guys will have your mile results by then anyway.
I wonder if Jerry can make progress with a stock car under warranty....

In the LSX motor world canned tunes can be awful for the car. I am aware of at least 4 cars which blew a motor for faulty tune(which is debateable as its very hard to prove), but luckily for the tuners they are never liable and never is the dealer. So before getting caught with my pants down on a tune for a 30k motor. I would love an opportunity to hear the great and the bad to be able to truely understand if "The Juice is worth the squeeze." Please if something bad did happen do not knock the vendor. Just state the vendor and and what happened. Example: Tune, threw Rod Bearing (Vectormotorsports). Thats all I am looking for. Also does Renntech stand behind their tune?
