- Mercedes Benz E Class AMG: How to Install Coilovers
Step by step instructions for do-it-yourself repairs
KW V2 Coil-overs E55 (Build Thread)

Other 55k's definitely are "freggin freight trains" but I'm only a lil faster than stock

I'll definitely have a write up of how it rides and drives.
. M5's won't have the "in the twisties" quote for much longer...
I'll probably keep it around the same as I have it now. It's not SLAMMED but it's pretty low.
Thanks buddy!

Sit in an Evo and then sit in a GT3RS and you would know what i am talking about.. You can never make an Evo drive like a GT3RS either, can you ?
Still got a few days. After the car is on the ground, we have to adjust the ride height and once that is done, we have to conquer the electronical gremlins with Star.
Shouldn't be a problem. I guess this is really what everyone has been waiting for....Then off to get an alignment. THEN...
We raise a lil hell.

I'm very sure that many members here have owned Evo before. I had three myself. So we are somewhat familiar with what the Evo is capable of.
To me the main reason to convert the E55 to coil-overs is to make it a little more "reliable". My car is 92k miles and still on the original air shocks, so it's like driving on a ticking time bomb (you don't want to be 500 miles from a dealer just to find out one of the shocks is blown). The better handling is a welcome bonus. To the OP, thank you again for doing this.
