No headers. Mufflers I pickedup off a member from this board who took then off his e63. Magnaflow true x pipe.

Sounds sick tbal! With the cutouts open at the very end of the video it sounds a bit like an American Muscle car idling.

Cold start and cutouts open it sounds like a mustang lol, idle a little bit american tone, but once it gets going, nothing like a domestic

I forgot if you ran the same setup with stock mufflers? I know you ran without period lol.
From what I hear, our car sound identical and Im still on my 55 mufflers.

Do you have lth headers? My 55 mufflers were toooooo quiet, all other e55s with 2nd cat and res delete are still super quiet.

Negative. I'll have to do a clip soon, the iphone cam sound is wayyyy to weak as you already know. Happy for ya u got everything on finally.

In general the e55 mufflers are super heavy and full of packing, and not a straight through design. The e63 mufflers are straight through design, half the weight and less packing, hence the better exhaust note.

Do you notice any difference in performance when you have the cutouts open?

Don't datalog but at the track with cutouts open I did 12.53 and closed with 12.7x

Where are the cut outs placed on the exhaust exactly? how far back from the rear?

Which brand of cutouts did you use? Where is the switch mounted? Any pics?

Cutouts are at the rear, just before the mufflers. Im not sure of brand of cutouts, would assume all electric cutouts are the same. Switch is mounted close to the hood release area...
