i think no one here has done it because UGR's prices start at $70,000 for a build and go up in excess of $130,000 from everything i have seen ... which makes sense to a guy that can afford an $100,000 used lambo as a second car/toy but not to most of us that DD our $30K-ish e55s

side note though i have followed UGR for a while now and a UGR lambo gallardo is my ultimate dream car! when i have an EXTRA $80k for used lambo and another $70-$100K for UGRs kit laying around the bank, it will be top of my list of purchases but until then i have to dream

I know exactly what you're getting at. I just find it funny that some people expect so much. TT'ing a 55k is no easy task. Some people just want it because they want it, for a ridiculously low price and they want it now.

An Underground Racing Gallardo is also on my dream cars list. One day...

yep the TT thing on the cheap is not easy for sure or else we'd all be driving TT E55s now...

I think some members have the right idea in that what is probably more feasible is a bigger s/c .... something we could bolt in with a new tune and possibly new injectors

id like to follow this as well ,

i put together a twin kit on my truck lsx motor based , and i had well over 10k after all was said and done , with a custom air to water intercooler , ported gt-35r turbos , all stainless hot side and aluminum cold side , tial 44mm wg's tial bov , it adds up very quick , 10k for a quality kit using bb turbos and ss piping is a decent deal . you really get what you pay for , turbo kits have alot of variables that can effect price .

...ok, where do I start? The UGR tt system starts at 35K NOT 70K on stock engine 5psi boost and 650rwhp. It's helpful to be factual otherwise the discussion will be waste if time. Secondly realize that the E55 post 2003 already has FI, so internals will not need to be re-worked. But mire importantly, NO ONE, said they wanted a tt system for "cheap." If you or anyone claims that price us there issue,then do like UGR does and name your price for the different tt stages. Insinuatingthat those asking for tt on AMG secretly can't afford it, deflects from the real problem which is that there are no real tuners in the AMG aftermarket workd who so far are capable of developing a dependable tt system.

Recall that Kleemann s/c system for V8 engines that came out in 2001 was about $20K installed. People gobbled that up. It may be too late for an aftermarket tt system for AMG, since AMG now makes their own. Price has never been the bottleneck, competence has.
