Since this thread went somewhat to another topic I'll jump in.
I have not posted dynos on my current EV12 set up but the power results are astonishing to say the least. I will round, my set up is putting roughly 700rwhp at roughly 1.2 Bar...thats nothing, what makes it more interesting is the Air fuel is just in the 9.5, 9.6 range at WOT. Thats ridiculous rich. We are not even talking race gas yet, timing etc... The damn boost controller didnt let me raise the boost to 1.6-1.7 bar but I finally got it to that and threw in a new file. Just when we were about to redyno the intercoolers started leaking. we are fixing that right now and will jump right back in the dyno this weekend.
I went with this set up because I owned a 65 modded to the teeth. Everything I ran it killed at the track. While many will say its not practical having this set up, It is the best thing I could have made.
A V12 in the lighter boddy E class is my perfect recipe for a 9 second slip.
While I dont believe in bench racing and definitely dont want to run my mouth without first having this thing go on a track I will not rest until it runs 9s. Its the only reason I went this route. If you do the simple math you will see it will.
If someone has the patience, money and a good shop its definitely doable. The toughtest part is not the fabrication, its dealing with the smallest details in tuning, programming etc. Knock on wood the last gremlin I am going thru is tuning and speedriven just sent me a new file.
I am making it to MIR Oct 7th I hope to make her track debut that day.

u really dont know what u r talkin about do you? we have 11.2 PSI on the amg s/c... there is no 7psi kleeman in the w211 e55.
also the tranny in e500 and e55 are not the same... e55 uses Speedshift 5-speed automatic transmission which has a torque capacity of 796 lb-ft while the e500 7G-Tronic which is limited to 542 lb-ft..
good luck with that custom 15psi turbo set up on stock naturally aspirated motor post videos

Damn my diesel truck has a 5 speed tranny as well, it must be the same one that's in the E55 as well

What are you talking about? We don't have Kleeman SC's, we do have motors built for boost, and we make alot more then 7 pounds of boost. I'm starting to realize you don't have the slightest clue what your talking about. I'm guessing the biggest mod you've done to a vehicle involves taking it to a tire shop

Ok in the beginning of the forum people were saying they were using kleemans and etc.. Ok so 11. watever and your gonna add twin turbs? On ur naturally aspirated motor? So u guys gonna add 2 psi of boost before u blow it up? Yea right ur figures make no sense to anyone logical!

If by same transmission you mean the outside of the case, then yes your correct. However the internals between the two transmission are very much different and the 722.6 in your E500 can't handle anywhere near the power of the 722.6 behind a E55.

just because they have the same 722.6 cast doesnt mean all internals are the same

Both of you dont know what your talking about! Rather funny how u defend ur 55 as being this special motor and tranny car... I sit and talk with certified renntech installers that own a certified MB shop. I dont get my info from joe blow cause it sounds cool. You can argue till you both turn blue in the face in the end it's the same exact tranny and motor minus the supercharger. The m113 5.4 is the exact same engine with a slightly longer stroke. If you think mercedes built this special 5.4 any diff than every other m113 I assure you are WRONG. Your gonna be really sad when u blow this special engine with boost + SC.. You both already made a A** outta yourselfs. Keep thinkin your m113 is this one off special motor maybe you can tell your wife that and she will believe yea. There is a rentech tranny upgrade that you can add to the 722.6. Funny how u bounce around from saying its 7 gear tranny , to ok ur right it 5 speed on the outside. To yea it same but has speed driven bs! Who is tellin you this ? ? And were are you getting these bogus facts. I had my tranny replaced and requested the e55 trans thinking there was a difference . Every shop told me there is no diff in the two trans.. Hilarious

ur still wrong as they are still different... the non-AMGs use the 5G-TRONIC while the AMG's use the 5G-TRONIC with SPEEDSHIFT A version with mechanical lock-up of the torque converter from first gear, steering-wheel-mounted shifter
just because they have the same 722.6 cast doesnt mean all internals are the same
just because they have the same 722.6 cast doesnt mean all internals are the same
PS Renntech offers a tranny upgrade which is simple to install from what i heard- You should install that to make this 722.6 diff cause nothin else is! Atleast then u can honestly say its diff

Forget about the rest of the trannys the 55 and 500 tranny is exactly the same! Atleast the 2003 version for a fact is the same. As for the psi thing, my lil bro runs 15 psi in a 2.5 srt 4 engine! I can't run 15 psi on a v-8 motor without causing issue's ???? I can bolt on a kleeman sc and get 500 hp wihout ecu tune or nada! I plan on doing 7-7.5 psi on each side of the motor. NOT 15psi a side which would be a combined 30psi. Maybe u miss interpreted what I meant on that.. I've already talked to many people I'm gonna have to change injectors fuel pump and many other things. Anything will work you keepin throwin money at it... Hey if my engine blows gives me a reason to buy a new one right! Atleast everything is there already for the new motor and perfected so to speak on the old.
Don't want to keep havin a pissin match here, so lets try to stay on Topic.

I think the C55TT is a better idea than to change the E55K into a E55TT....
