AMG Calipers
Hey Guys,
Upgrading to the bigger AMG calipers. I want to get them powdercoated since I can get it for relatively cheap. Is this advisable? I don't want to keep painting them every 3 months cause they dirty...powder coat will help them be cleaner for longer....Thanks!

Powdercoating is more durable, getting dirty is a given and keeping them clean depense on the kind of wheels you have spokes a bit easier to clean or mesh which is impossible without taking the wheels off. I have mine painted and seem to hold up well.

shardul is powdercaoting mine as we speak. the issue you will run in to is the rebuild kits. m/b only supplies the dust boots in the kits NO SEALS! after extensive fone calls it seem the seals can be had for 10$ each so my setup is 200$ for my 6/4 setup. if your careful you can reuse the seals but you wont know until the bleed if they will leak.

550 shipped and they have brand new akebono pads installed. zero miles on the pads. 1 caliper is bead blasted to raw and the other is still silver oem color. let me know

Hmmm that is a good deal...I want to buy everything in one shot......also I really don't need the pads because I just replaced mine few weeks back.....so 4 piston rear....what piston front do I need?

If you need the AMG logos for the calipers after you change the color, let me know. I have them in red, black, white or yellow and they are all in the proper size. The set of four is $12.00, you can really go wrong with that.
