I'll probably go to see if I can get my Toyo T1R's to stick. I was told that last time I went ( I ran a 12.5@118mph with a 2.3'ish 60ft time ) that the track had ZERO prep and that if properly prep'd I could get a 2.0 or less 60ft on the same tires...We'll see I guess.

with decent prep and a mild burnout to clean and warm the tread you'll do fine with t1r's. i've got a stack of slips with consistent 1.71 60ft's on the 19" variety of those tires.

At least the E class can do sick burn outs, the damn CL has extra TQ mgt and it bogs down in the water box. Damn struggle each time to get tires hot.

Weird, my 05 will spin power braking no problem. Just hit the traction control button and let her eat. I would sit in place for only like 2 seconds before then rolling forward spinning since I was only on street tires though so no reason for anything crazy but it lets me spin. What do you mean by it won't let you do a burnout, like it instantly kills power or you can't sit there for 10 seconds if you wanted?

I was going to go out one last time also and try to hit 10's on straight pump gas but I decided to sell my drag set up and concentrate more on the twisty track as I'm having more fun there. I was REALLY close to 10's but I'm happy with my straight pump time now and want to try going fast through a turn too. I'm MORE than sure I would hit 10's with a race tune but oh well...shoulda, coulda, woulda...
