I cannot even begin to tell you guys how much I have loved owning this car. It was a dream that became a reality for me. But quickly turned into my worst nightmare. lol I have learned a lot of things because of everyone here. Without this website, my car would not have been the way it is today. So I just want to thank all the people that have helped me throughout building my car. You guys know who you are! For all the E55 members here, I want to tell you guys that you have the sickest car on the road! AMG FOR LIFE!! Its time to save for a CL65!!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I don't think you will have a problem selling at all. Let me know on the motor sir.

Cant think of anything else it would need except larger injectors and a retune.

Any thoughts about acting like a grown up and paying your own expenses? You still live at home, right?.... most likely rent-free. Food's probably free too. Does dad still pay the car insurance premiums?

You could try taking out a loan to pay for this repair... Not as good as "free money from dad" but at some point in life you'll need to take some personal responsibility for your own decisions /mistakes / expenses. Spread those payments out over 3 or 4 years and it should be easy to manage...even with a crappy-paying job.
You do have a job, right?

This is a great "teaching moment" and perhaps an opportunity for some personal introspection and growth.
Just because dad doesn't want to pick up the tab for this one doesn't mean that all is lost. It possible for Johncy to take ownership of the situation and solve this one himself.

I drove a Renntech CL65 last week. Let me tell you - it literally feels like a jet taking off ... not as violent as a modded E55, but the speedo just flys deep into the triple digits.
CL65s and the 65 motor in general is simply amazing
Good luck with your search and sorry to hear about your car, man!
The grass isn't always greener on the other side.
This car is local to you and there is a few near me
