IM pretty sure I read where they are at about 70% of max, they can put out much more before becoming grenades. The guy said he was in "M" manual mode and frigged up the 3-4 shift, must've hesitated and gave the tranny mixed messages, it went into neutral and over revved and KABOOM!! Leave it in S and only manual shift for a quicker down ****. Im not a drag racer so if you are ignore the driving tips, I love to turn at the end of a 120 mph straights. :-)

Hey C43, I think I posted this to the wrong thread...lol. Sorry for the confusion, another posted had said he blew up his AMG engine, my ***** ran and hid, thats my worst nightmare. A few others chimed in and I wanted to ease their fears as well. I raced motocross for years and the only time I blew up an engine it was TOTALLY my fault. :-)

Whatever we're tuning!
I would prefer for your own and your cars safety that you buy the complete TTM Fueling kit.
LOLL
On a side note, I was one of the first to have the TTM fueling kit, and my car is usually on the dyno, getting worked on the street or at the track. The first time I had that car at the track was at Steele, AL with the temp in the high 30's. Did about 8 passes that night and then drove home with no issues at all except going sideways through all of first and into 2nd going down the 1320 My car also made big power on the dynojet with that kit, 541/635..... so it does work!

Can you please tell me where to buys these, I'll purchase them immediately. I'm about to get the Eurocharged stage 3 plus installed and rather avoid messing the car up. I wanna get everything I need to properly run it and put it all in while everything else is gonna get done

Johncy, I just saw your post. I don't have the expertise to give valuable input on your situation yet know others do and are offering their input. I am devastated for you as I would be if it were my car. I hope the problem turns out not to be major. Take care, bud...

Sorry about your mishap! Regardless of the outcome on the upcoming autopsy, keep your car and fix it! a supra's speed cannot replace what your E is capable of doing period! You wont get much selling it "as is" and when you think about it it will cost you more to find a clean Supra and modifying it vs just throwing a new motor on the beast and finishing what you've started. just my .02
good luck!

Look up that one thread on here. (I forget who it was) But he Replaced a piston by dropping the pan and leaving the motor in for cheap and he has had no issue with it since. Someone chime in. He had a detailed thread with pictures!! Don't give up on it. You need to fix it first before you sell it anyways unless you want 10k for it.

I would do a more in depth analysis to see where you are at. You have really not even skimmed the tip of the iceberg with your findings brotha.

holy overreaction batman.
Compression test will take approximately 20 minutes for cyl 8. If its zip or anything near, you know you'll have a bigger issue. Then you can do a leak down to see if you are getting leakage into the crankcase, the coolant, the valves, etc.
Diagnose the problem before you get all bent outta shape.
