Who's trying to break records this year?
Just trying to see who is out to break some records this year? I know there's got to be 4-5 of us going for the E55 record (10.59) and the first to the 9's for the E55's. Hopefully Jody gets to the track before all of us so we know what the EV12 can do.

I would like to run 10s, but I'm not finished with the car yet. Plus South Florida heat and humidity sucks! Would be nice though. Working on cooling now.

Good luck to all of you. 10's are not easy (ask Craig 11.0) Alan's 10.7 stood for almost 2yrs and now Brendan's car holds the record with a 10.59. If your going for 10.59 you better bring your lunch!

Yes, talk is cheap homeys. 10s is a hell of an order for these cars.
Weather and track prep have to he perfect to hit that number. Case and point, I had my car gutted, removed catback, on c16 and clicked 523rwhp/635rwtq on the heart breaker.
With that setup I headed down to Silver Dollar that had sick prep that day. I cut a 1.56 60 ft and could only muster a 11.0...... I was convinced that day I was going to knock on bk's 10.79 run but did not even come close. The missing factor was weather, the stars have to really align to get these cars in the 10's.
A completely full weight car on pump gas will never ever touch the record that low pro set, never.
I have mad respect for low pro and what he did, he is king right now, and although there are lots of guys chasing it, something extra Will have to be added to your arsenal if You plan to touch it full weight.
Off course I am hoping to dip into the 10's this year, but my goal is to change nothing at all between my track setup and street setup. I will have a little weight reduction, but it will not change on the street and will still be able carry 4 passengers.
Let the games begin brothas.

I don't think so, I think it will have major traction problems and will take a damn experienced dragger to get the full potential out of the car.
If you make the jump from a low 500rwhp car to a low 600rwhp car, let me tell you, it is major. You encounter big issues you never saw with 100rwhp less.
