Service definitions
Right now my car is calling for a C service.
This unfortunately means nothing to me. I dug further into the manual and found another menu.
Currently it is calling for
Service 1
Service 2
Service 9
Service 12
These are individual items that that car needs to have done, also defined as I understand it correctly C service.
Anyone???
I just changed the air filters myself, the Cabin air filters and engine oil and oil filter. Guessing those are some of them but still unsure.
This is also what I've found.
Oil and filter change, check all other fluid levels and correct if required.
Brake and Suspension inspection (and grease if required)
Engine and drive train inspection
Replace both fuel filters, check air filter.
Function check including lights, horn, wiper etc.
Test drive and written report.

here's a link to the W211 forum, I too am still learning this stuff..
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...s-211-usa.html
1 Due when displayed
Check brake pads & rotors front/rear
2 Every 60,000 miles or 4 years
Replace air cleaner insert
9 Every 2 years
Check bodywork for paint damage
Check chassis and load-bearing body components
Replace brake fluid, check pressure of reservoir
12 Due when displayed
Engine oil and filter change
I myself have a Service E coming in 6k miles

B service will include air filter and cabin air filter.
If you feel your car really need some service, just flush the coolant, brake fluid, tranny flush, belts or even plugs instead of paying someone to "check" and charge you for $150.

Your link is invalid for an AMG. That list of items will change for every engine+transmission combination. Interestingly, it can also be changed mid stream by a software update. Used to be the 722.9 tranny was a single change at 40k, now it is every 40k.
If you are going to do the service yourself, or use an Indy, you need to read your maintenance manual and keep track yourself. Use the FSS simply as a reminder.

CharlyE500's advice is bad, especially considering the SBC Pump, when the car calls for a brake fluid change do it, don't do it when you feel like it

My advice is bad ??? what do u know about W211 ???? NOTHING AT ALL !
If you do the service according to that FSS then you really have no idea about Mercedes. Its common sense to flush your brake fluid every 2 years or 40K miles even the stupid FSS not mentioned. Plus, when you do the C or D service, the dealer WON'T change any fluid for you. They basically just "Verify or Check" the level. For who follow those C or D service are people really have no idea about their car like YOU.
BTW, if you go to Dealer to do brake flush, they know how to do it with SBC. oh when you say A B C etc define the amount of time the service need ??? C means 3 hours, D means 4 hours and do u really know what they do ??? 4 hours doing what ??? oil filter changer then what ?? CHECK CHECK and CHECK

Keep thinking you have all the answers, but while you're doing that, shut up and learn

what's funny about the "Gearing" thread is that you didn't know enough about the car to understand my post.
You're on the same level as Jangy....

"where people are getting their panties in a knot is not understanding that with the symmetrical setting and a 200mph speedo will actually be going 160 and reading 200mph and yes I've seen them improperly coded. They will read correct to 80mph and then the reading get's progressively greater in error"
READ THE REST OF THE THREAD ! YOU were WRONG

It was ridiculous anyway the notion that at 200mph it's actually 165mph. If that were true then Mercedes-Benz needs some help making their clusters and sensors
I can't imagine what 342km/h must be like Jesus Christ the world must be a blur
