Widest tire on a 10.5 rim??
What is the widest tire we can run on our cars on a 10.5 rim,on my other E55 I ran a 285/25,is a 295/25 possible without any rubbing?? I would really like to run a 295/30 but nut sure if that will fit either without any issues,and the car will be lowered..

I ran a 295/25/20 on my LM's a while back. I did rub when I got on it, cruising in C was fine though. Come to think about it, offset on the wheel was pretty aggressive so I'm sure I could have gotten away without rubbing if the offsets were different...

I have a W215 AMG with 10.5" rims in the rear. I'm running 285 in the back, but would love to somehow get 305 tires back there

You should be able to get a 315-35 tire on a 10.5 rim...but you must check the specific tire's section width since all 315 tires do not have the same width...tire rack lists this for the tires they sell.

I'm going to revive this thread. I need new tires.... bad. I'm currently on 295/25/20 and I don't rub. I do, however, want to put a 305 back there for a little extra traction. Has anybody done this? Here's a pic of me on 295s.

Probably squeeze some 44X19.5's on there. You'll need a custom lift kit though.

Update: I decided to go 315's after i test fitted a set of 305s, very subtle difference look to my Hankook 295. Rear tires are Toyo T1R 315/25/20 i'm gonna get some more shots this weekend and will make a thread next week with wheel fitment etc. Also picked up some Vossen CV5's in the process, 10.5 rear very minor clearancing done
