Fuel pump assembly??

Long story short, I have a friend who is into building turbo kits for mustangs. I asked him about our fuel pump assembly situation and he said he can made a billet unit for our car. I told him when the winter time come around I'll tear my car up and let him borrow the fuel pump assembly. Anyway, he's been bugging me for the last two week (apparently mustang business is also affected by the election too ).

So anyone had replace the stock fuel pump assembly and have the stock old bad one and want to sell. I'll take it and hopefully he can do something with it. Thanks!!

You do know that ultimately it is the tank (and evap tube) that fail and not just the sending unit (or pump assembly)...right

David, is he going to have to damage or ruin the pump assembly? If not I have a brand new one I'll send out to you if you can return it when he's done.

I'm sure he will have to dis-assembly it. All the connections will be billet and aluminum. So, yes it will take care of the fragile plastic ones.

Dirt Scooters
I haven't that I know of but that was just a 4-5 second dyno run with a decent shot of nitrous. AFR was 10.1-10.7 the entire run so fuel pumps were keeping up.

Sneaky neon removed his pumps, put duel 044 bosch pumps and duel 8an lines as I recall. Good to David working on fuel pumps, as better to not see where the limits are real time.

This is not a performance upgrade, but more of a reliability upgrade. Hopefully with this we, the E55 owners, can finally fill up the car to the brim.

But this will be easily upgrade to dual pumps or bigger pump if ones desired .

Do not forget that the pressure regulator is located with the OEM pumps.
