Read about Bramage's and my impressions here:

The short version is we both love this mod. At this price, you can't afford not to do it!
If you have a larger crank pulley and get the resulting jerkiness from the supercharger clutch engagement, this completely alleviates that problem. I didn't even use a dictionary, but I'm pretty sure that means it gets rid of that problem completely. If not, that's what I meant.
Oh, and need we mention the instant boost? Something that is not as easy to show on a dyno sheet. It is now like your right foot is directly connected to the boost gauge. You want boost, you get it that nanosecond.
I will take a video of my DashDAQ display later to illustrate how smooth the car drives and how insanely fast it will transition from vacuum to boost.
If you are worried that this mod will turn the Mercedes "uncivilized" or something, don't. It is so much smoother now than with the clutched pulley and only goes full axe-murderer wen you call for it. Just call, email, fax, mail, or hand-deliver your order today while supplies last!

fixed pulley
Where was this at the open house? i just spent almost 800 on the clutched pulley and tune. i would love to do this, but dropping another 650.00 is alittle rough.

I didn't even install my clutched pulley/tune yet. Don't mind spending the money on another pulley, but the retune is a deal killer for me.

any efforts or thoughts on being able to remove the old magnet or replace with lighter? seems like a lot of rotating mass.
ive been really excited about this and will pull the trigger soon.

Obviously if someone is driving the car harder it will use more fuel. However, on some S/C vehicles, if the vehicles computer wasn't expecting boost, or was expecting less mass air pressure, it can create driveability and/or mileage issues. I am very interested in this mod, but would like to keep my mileage as high as possible - if it's going to drop me from 21 to 15, I'd rather not.

Lol people (myself) included are kinda scared cuz either the way you described it or just the "instant" word thrown
around scares a bit lol.
We know our cars love to spin tires once the S/C engages but which we can avoid by not allowing it to engage and if
this keeps it engaged all the time lol then stop and go traffic , stopping on red lights, snow driving does scare haha
Oh yes, people who drive a lot in city or use the car a lot would also be worried about the gas mileage.
I'm thinking about getting this since I have only one mod on my car lol but waiting on the videos.

^It's only "instant" when you want it. As long as you don't drive it like a moron (do you stab the gas pedal during normal driving now?) or loan the car out to Michael J Fox, you'll be fine.
The best I've seen was 24.6 or 24.8 at around a 75mph average speed. That's when I'm trying to be efficient.
Headers, bigger TB, and ported heads help with the efficiency of moving all that air.
Disclaimer: This is with larger fuel injectors and looped rail, so the result indicated by the computer may be off. Do keep in mind that I did a drive from San Diego to LA after I had headers installed while still on stock fuel system and I picked up an increase of over 3mpg on the highway. I never saw 20mpg until I started modding the car.
I'd like to figure out how to scale the injectors using STAR in order to get an accurate readout on the dash.
