2014 E63s amg 4matic, 2009 C63, 2006 E55 AMG , 2001.5 AUDI S4 stg 3+ w/meth
plus audi weighs about 300 lbs less than the e63 awd
the audi's are pushing about 600 whp on the apr 93 oct tune @ 29psi , while the e63s are getting about 620-640 whp on 93 tunes @ 19 psi so the e63 would have significantly more hp if it pumped up the boost 10 psi to be at same boost level as the tuned audi
and now, they have an audi rs7 going 10.15 @ 135.6 in russia with upgraded turbos from APR tuning

I haven't read through this whole thread but I do have some actual facts for you guys. I raced both cars discussed in here in my V numerous times and here were the results. Sorry but no video.
Rs7- (tune, downpipe, good fuel) Rolling from approx. 40 mph we start evenly and stay even till about 90mph where I start to inch away to about a 1/2-3/4 car lead and at about 140mph he starts inching back to even at about 170mph where we get out of it. It is the best races that either one of us have ever had. That's why we have done it so many times, probably about 5.
E63- (renntech tuned, downpipe, probably 93 octane) Not much to explain here...I murder him every time! He likes to start at 30mph or so, so we go out evenly... he hooks, I don't, he takes a 1-2 car length lead and by 90mph I am 2 cars in front, 130mph I am 6 cars in front.
Bottom line with similar work done...the Rs7's are going 10.60s on 93 octane and the E63's are going low 11's. Drag times tells it all.
P.S. I was supposed to go out and run the E63 yesterday morning in my e55 to see where my E stands and I was late....had a X mas party Sat. night so I was a little hung over. I will try and get with him this coming Sunday. I assume to lose by a few cars but hopefully only like 2.

I wish it trapped 135-137mph and I don't have a bottle...I actually consistently trapped 132.5ish and with some spin actually trapped 134mph but in good hook runs 132.5 on a bad tire. A belt was broke and I was dangerously close to having a blow out. Funny thing was, tires were old and the cold weather was here so I thought they were just getting flat spots from sitting around (I only use it once a week or two weeks even). I would drive for 10 minutes or so with some lumping going on and then it would almost clear up but not fully. Anyway, I should trap a steady 133mph+ with my new tires but will have to wait for next year. I also probably could have had a little better E85 as well so we will see what happens.
Back to the RS7, he had it tuned to the moon and on full blown race fuel...trust me. Could he have had something else small that he wasn't disclosing? Very possible, but it was no NOS! lol...Those cars run 10.60's on 93 all day long. Go look on drag times there are 2 last I looked...10.60 flat and 10.69. They are fast!

With my bad tire mentioned above, this could've been me! This happened yesterday at Orlando I believe. The guy was fine, no injuries which is great!

Oh man, that poor guy. But WTF is up with that track!? I would not feel comfortable with that many people standing so close to the car. That looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

That looked like a half assed attempt of pinks with a bad ending ,I like the emergency response vehicle

My car is pretty much maxed out on the bolt on s,03 SL55,and running 10.7 on race fuel and drag radials, guy by me has RS7 tune, some exhaust ,race fuel and walks away from me,I'd say low 10.6 or 10.5s ,I think just a tune puts RS7 at 10.8 ,don't think a pulley and tune is gonna help you much if your friend has a tune ,but good luck with that race lol
I think you guys misunderstood me. His RS7 is stock. i dont think it can do better than a 11.7 in a 1/4 especially with a 300 pound driver. thats the only reason i said i would have a chance if i was pulley/tune. if hes tuned i wont waste my time, trust me i know what these turbo 8s are capable of with just tune.
BTW these "tunes" are over 2k so lets not act like its just 1 small little mod lol

Ahh ok that makes more sense. I had you mixed up with another member on here who I believe just cracked a 10.2-10.3@140 on juice and I believe 137 range off the bottle.
Crazy days with all these 10 second 4 door luxury sedans everywhere

You really must be new to the European / European performance marketplace. Because a little over $2000 in mods is practically nothing, basically a very cheap entrance fee. You do relize it's a 130k car right? And HP vs Dollar amount gained is practically as cheap per HP/TQ you can buy.
The E55 buyers / owners now and days don't relize or even remember the days when a crank pulley was 2k and Kleemann headers were nearly 4k for the 55s

That is Dave (urbamworm). Great guy! As a matter of fact, he played the role of 'inspector' for the E55 I just got! It was close to him so he went and checked it out for me.

Yes, I think for $3k maximum you go from 11.7's to 10.6s...I don't know about you but sounds like a deal, right Forced? Also, what you said, the car is $130k loaded up so for 2% this is what you get!

Bingo, it's cheaper then most every singular additional option you can add to the car when purchasing. And again dollar for dollar you couldn't buy that much power for a 55k engine even with today's cheaper mod costs. Not attempting to be rude or condescending to anyone but some of the people in the E55 platform don't relize what these cars costed new or how much the "pay to play" costed prior owners and OG's to the 55k modding game. Them buying an e55 for 20k or less skews there judgement in my opinion. Practically every E55 modder in existence would have killed to have a second off there 1/4 mile for around 2k.

What he said - I remember when the E55 was the new kid on the block and pulley/tunes were more expensive than these software flashes and didn't yield anywhere near the improvements. Even $4k for a 100 whp increase is nothing for a 130k plus car. A set of QUALITY wheels costs more.
Flashy wheels are cheap...lol.
And yes, 100whp/130wtq for $3k is a modders wet dream.

Yes, it makes sense to us obviously. I just put over $2k in my car (not mods, just fixed some stuff and made my own adjustments) and that was nothing...retail it would have cost others $5k! Point is, the under $20k cars always need stuff fixed and modding them is still costing us over $4k. I did the math and if I would have to mod my car I would have went for $3k at least, probably more and I would not have gained 100whp or 130rwtq, that's for sure!

Indeed.
...and I highballed that at $3k just for arguments sake! lol
