I'm in the same situation as you but just 1 step forward. I have a bone stock 2005 e55 until recently. As my first mod, I purchased the eurocharged ecu tune.

My next moves would be pulley/heat exchanger/ic pump.

After that, prolly headers.

Los Angeles is mostly controlled by renntech and kleeman. Eurocharged sent me their tune file via net and i just uploaded it manually to my ecu. Easy process.

I think over the years- general consensus would be.

First look/replace the CPS, check fuel sending units, fuel tank (fill it to brim to cheak for leakage) and check airmatic.

Once all those done then,

Intercooler pump, Bigger H/E (currently group buy going on) , Headers (unless smog worries you ) ,

then S/C pulley not crank and to complement a favourable tune.

S/C pulley has have had issues (cracking, spring breaking what not). That's why I wrote it after Headers.

If Unlimited funds are available -then you can just start with modding in any manner you want but if I could do it over I'd do it

the way I described.

Why SC pulley & not a crank pulley?

Crank pulley is much more $$ in damage if installation is faulty.

You need to get it perfect. No if's and but's -right to the dot.

With S/C installation is much easier plus ppl not running enough cooling can

still do by fine with S/C pulley alone.
