Hey Guys,

I installed phenolic spacers (I highly recommend) but now I notice some white smoke coming from my header area. Is this a valve cover gasket leak tricking me into thinking it's related to the spacer install? You can see the smoke around the five second mark.

^^brings the heat down a bit, I think someone actually tested it and had some great results. I bought mine from a member they were from evosport and their price was some ridiculous $299 but I only paid $100. Anyways I've never had any issue and I have taken them a part a few times too..

Good luck B hopefully nothing big. My bet is valve cover gasket. That side is notorious for leaks, I re did mine twice or 3 times lol finally got it and it's been perfect

^Agree with Albert^,

phenolic spacers are great for heat insulation,

maybe something wrong during installation, spacers cracked within over tighten bolts/gaskets got slips,,

did you check any kind of air leaks/strange sounds around their area..?

ZAYED,,

I pulled the air boxes out after and all I noticed was some fluid on the exhaust manifold, nothing else. That could only be from the VCG and not the surge tanks correct?

You know how hot your surge tanks normally get after driving? They are only a little warm to the touch after the spacers.
