Exclamation Jerky Tranny

Recently I did a muffler delete on my car. Sounds like a monster. Now because of this, I have jerky movements when I gas it on manual. Can this ever be a cause of a muffler delete...? When I put it on 1st or 2nd gear and I gas it, it moves forwards and backwards a few times then pulls. This all happened after the muffler delete.

There is no real loss of back pressure. If it was substantial enough to cause the car to misbehave, you would gain or lose torque.
What i believe is happening is sound adaptation via right appendage. When you push the pedal and hear the sound increase, sound that you are not used to hearing unless the pedal is pushed even more. You instinctively back off the pedal and car falls on its face, then you rinse and repeat.

I will test out your hypothesis today. Sounds reasonable but not 100% sure on this one.

guilty of that when I first modified my exhaust. Though it could also be the transmission mount

We need to get badges here on MBWORLD. I think the 'shade tree' mechanic would do great!

My car (100% stock) does that whenever it's cold outside. In fact, just today I experienced it for the first time this winter. It seems like whenever the temp is below about 50 degrees that the car is a little "jerky" until things get warmed up.
