You really must be on something strong good for you buddy
I mean you did say on a thread somewhere "that you pulled your motor out to powder coat your valve covers" LOL I didn't know you had to do all that just to get the valve covers off
Lmfao

You did do all of that except you said "a friend may be interested", and you were only asking for my price. So don't try to act like you're some baller with cash in hand.

And I never said I pulled the motor to powder coat my valve covers! I did pull my motor out to add all the gold wrap and to ceramic coat my manifolds and turbos. Which btw was easier to pull the motor rather than disconnect it all and try to fit everything back in perfect.

Exactly!! It doesn't matter what you do or say someone will accuse you of something. I made 6-8 passes with the nitrous bottle sitting on the ground and still get accused of using nitrous. I wish the car would of made 1 solid nitrous pass to put up a number to show what it would of done on nitrous. The run it tossed the belt from the pulley taking a **** it went 6.49 to the 1/8 so that would of been a pass. I just run my car and let my times do the talking.

It's a small world!!

FYI, it's GREAT being Seminole!!

And just so that you don't sound so stupid, the Seminole Tribe of FL is the ONLY tribe that has NEVER signed a peace treaty with the government. So we don't get **** from them. But the Seminole Tribe does own the HardRock franchise and I do enjoy the benefits of that.

Everyone play nice now. I love how personal drama always comes back on here.

OP,
I would play it safe with a 77MM Clutch pulley and tune. Don't go all out like "some people" and having being bashed around.

Whoa, I didn't say magic air ahmad. Just my opinion, that also happens to be based on documented experiences on many occasions from many different people.

DA is DA. But, I have never seen as good of DA and track prep like they do back east. Pay or not I have never seen it done in CA. It's a good thing for you guys. Never seen crazy negative DA days with my shoes sticking to the track either.

I don't have a dog in this fight for ET and Records. It's very impressive though. Just sharing some info. Later

Interesting. Let's say you take the track prep and years of experience with launching out of the equation. What do you have on a good run? Luck or a fast car? In the lab, theory becomes fact when a test is repeated with the same results.

Hence, mile racing. Hear me out. Limited with high speed tires and not drag slicks with skinnies. Relying on pure power and aero dynamics. After all, these are built for the Autobahn. Pull your times with 20" wheels and a full interior. Like the damn Germans intended it to be. And yet, some worry about a 1/4 time with a car set up that isn't even practical? How is taking a luxury vehicle and turning it into a gutted trash vehicle even cool? Yup, shots fired.

Side note? A 335 BMW broke 200 mph in the mile years ago and no one in the Mercedes world gave a sh*t. Let's grow them mullets a little longer......

LOL Nah. It's all good and read most of all of it. I'd just like to make some more power out of my **** box. Go from driving a 1500whp/3600lb car to a 450whp/4400lb car and you'd be lookin to do some upgrades too.

It would be cool todo a 2.9 whipple kit with a weistec deal. Also i'm contemplating maybe doing a 64mm turbo feeding the factory blower. I am a Procharger guy by heart tho but there is no room as i have eye fu cked the car a ton lol The car is nick named the (destressor) it sees 180mph quite often and for a wagon its a pretty cool car considering i'm a Ford guy. I've put 20k of some very abusive miles on it in the last year and it's one of my favorite cars ive owned.

Jesus in my heart would of given me a least 10 more rwhp. To no evail, I'm catholic.
I have a 248 dyno jet. sae 5 yes. I'm just curious what the factory blower is capable of. Id like to have one ported and give it a whirl also. In the zr1/z06,terminator,GT500 mustang stuff they pick up some good power with having the blowers ported. I have a street driven 5.4 liter Ford dohc motor with a blower on e85 that makes 1500whp (most in the country actually) that I did the build my self pretty much besides short block and heads. Me no dummy to making power just have to pick a route. Just curious to what others have done.

I think that no matter what you do, the factory blower will be your biggest restiction. I've done everything for the factory blower and it still wasn't enough for me. That's why I twin turbo' mine.
The other problem will be the tuning. Remember, you get what you pay for. Everyone is always looking for the "deals", but as you already know, you gotta pay to play.

Another problem is the amount of heat that these cars create. I like the 2.9 blower but it also creates a ton of heat. Plus Wiestec isn't much help when it comes to tuning their own product. Eurocharged has tuned quite a few of them also, but the stock rings are going to be your other limit.

This is all my opinion. I have a lot of haters on here that hate because I won't share my info on my build. But I do have the only successful conversion and I'm still on stock internals and stock transmission. I'm pushing 18psi and making upper 600s to the wheels. And I'll tell you this, it's all in the tuning.

Cool and good to know. We have found someone overseas that will get us the software and train us for 4500$. I know a couple of pretty good automotive tuners in the country thru out my travels. I'd just like to make like 700-750whp with it at some point. The car would be pretty fun. Just have to decide which way i want to go with it.

Nice!!!

The fastest E55 and CL55 are both tuned by the same tuner. We believe the stock motor limit is around 730-750whp. I am just shy of 700whp and the CL is at 724whp. But the CL is on the bottle
I believe your goals are within reach. But tuning for these cars are not that easy, otherwise everyone would be doing it.

Good luck to you! Feel free to pm me if you need any help.

I hit 10's on my 4th run after installing my mods. I went back two weeks later and on the 1st attempt ran 10's again and went home.
